Overpayments definition

Overpayments as used in this Section include payments (i) made by the System Agency that exceed the maximum allowable rates; (ii) that are not allowed under applicable laws, rules, or regulations; or (iii) that are otherwise inconsistent with this Contract, including any unapproved expenditures. Xxxxxxx understands and agrees that it will be liable to the System Agency for any costs disallowed pursuant to financial and compliance audit(s) of funds received under this Contract. Xxxxxxx further understands and agrees that reimbursement of such disallowed costs shall be paid by Grantee from funds which were not provided or otherwise made available to Grantee under this Contract.

Examples of Overpayments in a sentence

  • Overpayments or erroneous payment to the Contractor shall be promptly returned to the State in the full amount by the Contractor within fifteen (15) days after written notification from the State.

  • Overpayments discovered after twelve months or later from the time the overpayment was made shall be forgiven by the Employer, unless the overpayment was the result of fraud, deception or Bargaining Unit Member’s negligence.

  • Overpayments of three hundred dollars ($300.00) or over shall be recovered in not less than three (3) monthly deductions and not more than six (6) monthly deductions from the employee’s pay warrant.

  • With respect to the Term Year in which this Agreement is terminated, any Underpayments or Overpayments, as the case may be, resulting from such Term Year shall be due and payable by [AIRLINE] to the Lessee or by the Lessee to [AIRLINE], as the case may be, within 10 business days after the Lessee provides the Statement of Actual Annual Contribution to [AIRLINE].

  • Overpayments of greater than one hundred dollars ($100.00) but less than three hundred dollars ($300.00) shall be recovered from the employee in two (2) monthly deductions from the employee’s pay warrant.


More Definitions of Overpayments

Overpayments means payments made to or on behalf of a Participant that are determined by Plan Sponsor or BCBSNC to exceed the amount payable under the Dependent Care FSA.
Overpayments means a payment or payments greater in amount than actually due Provider under the Agreement or a payment or payments to which Provider was not entitled hereunder regardless of the reason and no matter how Blue Shield, Health Plan, or Provider learns of such error.
