Outreach Efforts definition

Outreach Efforts means voluntary efforts in good faith to contact and solicit bid proposals/quotes from minority and women owned firms.
Outreach Efforts means the diligent and good-faith efforts demonstrated by a Respondent to solicit participation from Small Businesses. Respondent shall: identify and document potential business opportunities for Small Businesses; describe what efforts were undertaken to solicit Small Business participation; disclose results of negotiations with Small Businesses; and communicate and record Respondent’s selection decisions and notifications relating to Small Business participants.
Outreach Efforts means the diligent and good-faith efforts demonstrated by a Respondent to solicit participation from interested and qualified ACDBEs, DBEs and other Small Businesses. Respondent shall: identify and document potential business opportunities for ACDBEs, DBEs and other Small Businesses; describe what efforts were undertaken to solicit ACDBE, DBE and Small Business participation; disclose results of negotiations with ACDBEs, DBEs and Small Businesses; and communicate and record Respondent’s selection decisions relating to ACDBE, DBE and Small Business participants.

Examples of Outreach Efforts in a sentence

  • If a Respondent fails to conduct these Outreach Efforts or fails to submit the required documentation of Respondent’s Outreach Efforts as indicated in Section IV, Parts A, B and C below, the City may determine that the Respondent’s proposal is nonresponsive.

  • Each Respondent shall complete and submit supporting documentation of its Outreach Efforts related to Form EO2.

  • The Office of Contract Compliance shall determine whether a Bidder has satisfied the non- discrimination requirements of section 2-1448 based on its review of the Covenant of Non Discrimination, the Outreach Efforts Documentation, the Subcontractor Project Plan, and its review of other relevant facts and circumstances, including complaints received as part of the bid process.

  • Each Respondent shall complete and submit Form EO2 documenting its diligent, good-faith Outreach Efforts.

  • As a matter of compliance, the Successful Respondent must submit EOD Forms: Form – EOD-2/Small Business Outreach Efforts and Form - EOD 3/Small Business Utilization Commitment, and the associated Supporting Documentation, on an annual basis by the anniversary date of contract award.

  • Each Respondent shall complete and submit Attachment C-A documenting its diligent, good-faith Outreach Efforts.

Outreach Efforts means activities that are related to encouraging individuals to seek screening services.
Outreach Efforts means activities conducted with the purpose of informing and educating the broader public, parents, adults, and women and family serving professionals about MOMS Pregnancy Support Services and how to access them. Examples include media, marketing, and other awareness activities. These may include, but not limited to, print ads in newspapers and directories, broadcast ads like Internet, radio, theater ads, and ads placed using social media.

Related to Outreach Efforts

  • Good Faith Efforts means actions undertaken by a bidder or contractor to achieve a Contract Specific Goal that the CPO or his or her designee has determined, by their scope, intensity, and appropriateness to the objective, can reasonably be expected to fulfill the program’s requirements.

  • Diligent Efforts means, with respect to a Party’s obligations hereunder, the carrying out of obligations or tasks in a sustained manner consistent with the efforts a Party devotes to a research, development or marketing project for a pharmaceutical product or products of similar market potential, profit potential or strategic value resulting from its own research efforts, based on conditions then prevailing, which efforts shall in any event be no less than those which would be considered reasonable in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.

  • Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.

  • Active efforts means affirmative, active, thorough, and timely efforts intended primarily to maintain or reunite an Indian child with the Indian child's family. If an agency is involved in the child custody proceeding, active efforts must involve assisting the parent or a parent or Indian custodian with the steps of a case plan and including accessing or developing the resources necessary to satisfy the case plan. To the maximum extent possible, active efforts should be provided in a manner consistent with the prevailing social and cultural conditions and way of life of the Indian child's tribe and should be conducted in partnership with the Indian child and the Indian child's parents, extended family members, Indian custodians, and tribe. Active efforts are to be tailored to the facts and circumstances of the case. The term includes:

  • Develop means to engage in Development.

  • Reasonable Commercial Efforts means, with respect to the applicable obligation of the Company, reasonable commercial efforts for similarly situated, publicly-traded companies.

  • Reasonable Efforts means, with respect to any action required to be made, attempted, or taken by an Interconnection Party or by a Construction Party under Tariff, Part IV or Tariff, Part VI, an Interconnection Service Agreement, or a Construction Service Agreement, such efforts as are timely and consistent with Good Utility Practice and with efforts that such party would undertake for the protection of its own interests.   • Commercially Reasonable Efforts means efforts which are designed to enable a Party, directly or indirectly, to satisfy a condition to, or otherwise assist in the consummation of, the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and which do not require the performing Party to expend any funds or assume liabilities, other than expenditures and liabilities which are reasonable in nature and amount in the context of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Clinical nurse specialist means a registered nurse with relevant post-basic qualifications and 12 months’ experience working in the clinical area of his/her specified post-basic qualification, or a minimum of four years’ post-basic registration experience, including three years’ experience in the relevant specialist field and who satisfies the local criteria.

  • Pattern of racketeering activity means the planned, ongoing, continuous or repeated participation or involvement in any offence referred to in Schedule 1 and includes at least two offences referred to in Schedule 1, of which one of the offences occurred after the commencement of this Act and the last offence occurred within 10 years (excluding any period of imprisonment) after the commission of such prior offence referred to in Schedule 1;

  • Affordable development means a housing development all or a portion of which consists of restricted units.

  • Drug-free workplace means a site for the performance of work done in connection with a specific contract at which the employees of the Contractor are prohibited from engaging in the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession, or use of a controlled substance.

  • Diversity means variety among individuals. Diversity includes, for example, variations in socio-economic status, race, developmental level, ethnicity, gender, language, learning styles, culture, abilities, age, interests, and/or personality.
