Outplacement Assistance definition

Outplacement Assistance means payment by the Company of the cost of providing outplacement services for a period of twelve (12) months at a cost not exceeding $25,000 for each Tier 1 and Tier 2 Executive and for a period of nine (9) months at a cost not exceeding $15,000 for each Tier 3 Executive, so long as (i) the Participant commences utilization of the services within six months following the date of termination of employment; and (ii) the services are provided by a recognized outplacement provider. Payment shall be made by the Company directly to the service provider promptly following the provision of the outplacement services and the presentation to the Company of documentation of the provision of the services, and in all events by no later than the end of the year after the year in which such expense was incurred.

Related to Outplacement Assistance

  • Outplacement Services means professional outplacement services determined by the Employer to be suitable to the Executive’s position. The maximum amount that the Employer will pay for such services is set forth on the first page of the Agreement. The outplacement services shall be made available until the earlier of (i) such time as the aggregate cost to the Employer of the outplacement services reaches the maximum amount specified on the first page of the Agreement, and (iii) the date on which the Executive obtains another full-time job.   • Personal assistance services means a range of services including, among other things, training in managing, supervising, and directing personal assistance services, provided by one or more persons, that are designed to assist an individual with a disability to perform daily living activities on or off the job that the individual would typically perform without assistance if the individual did not have a disability. The services are also designed to increase the individual's control in life and ability to perform everyday activities on or off the job; necessary to the achievement of an employment outcome; and provided only while the individual is receiving other vocational rehabilitation services.

  • Hands-on assistance means physical assistance (minimal, moderate or maximal) without which the individual would not be able to perform the activity of daily living.
