Outages definition

Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities dispatched by PJM or the NYISO, as described in Section 35.9 of this Agreement.
Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities operated by the Parties, as described in Article VII of this Agreement.
Outages means unplanned service interruptions that temporarily prevent access to major functions of the production platform.

Examples of Outages in a sentence

  • Outages due to such an event will not be considered a lack of service availability.

  • Scheduled Outages may occur in situations where GEP deems it necessary in order to protect its systems, facilities, interests and interests of its customers and/or third parties, including situations where GEP is responding to the threat of a computer virus, in which ca se GEP will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify Customer in advance prior to such unavailability.

  • Availability: Availability for Services (“Availability” and/or “Available” as herein defined) which excludes Force Majeure Events, interruptions due to Customer’s software or third-party service providers, including, but not limited to Customer’s internet service provider, will be available to the Customer a nd it s Licensed Users seven (7) days per week and twenty-four hours per day excluding Scheduled Outages.

  • Outages caused by routine scheduled maintenance are also not considered an outage.


More Definitions of Outages

Outages means any act or occurrence during the Term which results in a reduction in the available capacity of the Facility below the Capacity;
Outages means any period measured in minutes during the monthly measuring period during which faults or problems with the System preclude processing of more than 25% of Messages sent by or to Customer by means of the Services and where the same is not attributable to Scheduled Maintenance, events of Force Majeure or acts or omissions of the Customer.
