Other Employee Claim definition

Other Employee Claim means, in respect of a Participating CCAA Party, any claim of an Employee against such Participating CCAA Party, that is not an OPEB Claim or a Pension Claim;
Other Employee Claim means: (i) any right or claim of any Employee against any of the Sears Canada Entities that is not a Termination Claim or a Warranty Claim, and (ii) any right or claim of any Employee against any Directors and/or Officers, in either case, including any right or claim in connection with any indebtedness, liability or obligation of any kind whatsoever of any such Sears Canada Entity, Director and/or Officer to such Employee, arising before, on or after the Filing Date, including without limitation any Indemnification Claims or Grievance Claims;

  • Other employee means an individual employed by a primary owner who is not authorized to provide proposition player services. “Other employee” does not include any owner, any supervisor, or any officer or director of a primary owner that is a corporation. An individual registered or licensed as an “other employee” may not function as a player unless and until that individual applies for and obtains registration or licensure as a player.

Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Inactive Employee means an employee who is not actively at work due to approved leave of absence, short-term disability leave or military leave.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Excluded Employee means an employee as defined in section 3527, subd. (b) of the Government Code (Ralph C. Dills Act) except those excluded employees who are designated managerial pursuant to section 18801.1 of the Government Code.

  • Part-time employee means an employee who is normally required to work less than the basic hours of work.

  • Executive Employee means those employees of the Company of Grade Level 10 or above.

  • Company Employee means any current or former employee, independent contractor or director of the Company or any Company Affiliate.

  • Prospective employee means an assessed individual who is anticipated to be hired upon completion of training.

  • Aggrieved Employee means all current and former hourly-paid or non-exempt employees of Defendant within the State of California at any time during the PAGA Period.
