Other Academic Staff definition

Other Academic Staff means the academic staff as defined in the “UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018’ which includes the cadres of Librarians, Directors of Physical Education and Sports.
Other Academic Staff means the academic staff as defined in the “UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018’ and as amended from time- to-time, which includes the cadres of Librarians, Directors of Physical Education and Sports. The Terms & Conditions of their appointments & service conditions shall be governed as per the UGC Regulations.
Other Academic Staff means all regular staff as designated as Other Academic Staff in University Grants Commission (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2018.

  • general medical practitioner means a general practitioner as defined in section 3 of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
