Original Term of Employment definition

Original Term of Employment shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2(a) below.

Examples of Original Term of Employment in a sentence

  • The Original Term of Employment shall be automatically renewed for successive one-year terms (the "Renewal Terms") unless at least 180 days prior to the expiration of the Original Term of Employment or any Renewal Term, either Party notifies the other Party in writing that he or it is electing to terminate this Agreement at the expiration of the then current Term of Employment.

  • In the event that this Agreement is not renewed because the Company has given the 180-day notice prescribed in the preceding paragraph on or before the expiration of the Original Term of Employment or any Renewal Term, such non-renewal shall be treated as a termination following non-renewal pursuant to Section 10 (d) below.

  • Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, at least one year prior to the expiration of the Original Term of Employment, the Parties shall meet to discuss this Agreement and may agree in writing to modify any of the terms of this Agreement.

  • In the event that this Agreement is not renewed because the Company has given the 180-day notice prescribed in the preceding paragraph on orbefore the expiration of the Original Term of Employment or any Renewal Term and, in either case, should such notice result in the expiration of the Term of Employment prior to January 1, 2010, such non-renewal shall be treated as a “Constructive Termination Without Cause” pursuant to Section 10(c).

  • The Initial Term shall be automatically renewed for successive one (1) year terms (the “Renewal Terms”) unless at least one hundred eighty (180) days prior to the expiration of the Original Term of Employment or any Renewal Term, either Party notifies the other Party in writing that she or it is electing to terminate this Agreement at the expiration of the then current term of employment.

  • The programme set 28% as the target value for the indicator for year 2022.

  • The term of the Executive's employment under this Agreement shall commence immediately upon the execution of this Agreement (the "Effective Date") and end on the third anniversary of such date (the "Original Term of Employment").

  • Executive's annual base salary shall not be decreased during the Original Term of Employment.

Related to Original Term of Employment

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Employment Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Year of Employment means a period of service of 12 months.

  • Post-Employment Period is defined in Section 8.2.

  • Involuntary Termination of Employment means the Termination of Service by the Company or Subsidiary other than a termination for Cause, or termination of employment by a Participant Employee for Good Reason.

  • Scope of employment means performance by an employee acting in good faith within the duties of the employee’s office or employment or of tasks lawfully assigned by a competent authority including the operation or use of an agency vehicle or equipment with actual or implied consent of the supervisor of the employee, but shall not include corruption or fraud;

  • Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.

  • Fixed-term employment means the engagement of an employee on the basis of a written contract of employment for a fixed period:

  • Length of Employment means the period of time since an employee last became a full-time or part-time employee in a permanent or term position for purposes of calculating all entitlements pursuant to this Agreement including, but not limited to, vacation, bonus vacation and pre-retirement leave and “Length of Service” shall have a similar meaning. Conversion from full-time or part-time status to casual status shall be considered a break in service and no period of casual employment or prior full-time or part-time employment in a permanent or term position shall be included in an employee’s length of employment or length of service even when a casual employee subsequently becomes a full-time or part-time employee.

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of an occurrence of a Change of Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the date which is one and one-half years following the occurrence of the Change of Control, and (ii) the Executive's death.

  • Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.

  • Place of employment means an enclosed area under the control of a public or private employer that employees normally frequent during the course of employment, including, but not limited to, work areas, private offices, employee lounges, restrooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, employee cafeterias, hallways, and vehicles. A private residence is not a "place of employment" unless it is used as a child care, adult day care, or health care facility;

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.

  • Agreement Term has the meaning set forth in Section 11.1.
