Original Material definition

Original Material means a material provided by one of the Parties and used in the Research Project.

Original Material means the samples of iPSC lines transferred by the Depositor to the EBiSC Bank in accordance with an EMDA;

Original Material means the material being transferred to the Recipient under this Agreement and as described in Schedule 1 to this Agreement;

Examples of Original Material in a sentence

• Substances created by the Recipient which constitute an unmodified functional subunit of Original Material, regardless of genetic background of the mouse, or of product expressed by the Original Material, such as a cell derived from an animal and any progeny thereof or an animal produced from (part of) a cell.

• Authorship of any and all publications that refer to the Original Material shall be agreed between the Provider Scientist and the Recipient Scientist in advance of submission in agreement with scientific standards.

• Therefore Original Material should always be handled carefully by trained people under adequate biohazard containment.

• Provider confirms that the patients involved have been informed about potential uses of the Original Material derived from the use by Recipient of Original Material according to the policies in place at the time such samples have been collected.

• In every Disclosure by Recipient based upon results obtained from the research through the use of the Original Material, Associated Personal Data and/or other contributions provided by Provider, Recipient shall acknowledge Provider’s scientists as contributor of the Material and the Associated Personal Data.

More Definitions of Original Material

Original Material. The description of the Material being transferred is specified in Annex 1 of this SMTA.

Original Material means the material described in Appendix A, as provided to LICENSEE by Inventor under this Agreement.
