Order of layoffs definition

Order of layoffs means the sequence in which employees within an affected classification are terminated from employment.

Examples of Order of layoffs in a sentence

  • Order of layoffs with a program: Fixed-term, non-tenure track faculty with less than .5 FTE; Fixed-term, non-tenure track faculty greater than .5 FTE; Faculty on annual tenure (tenure-track); Faculty on indefinite tenure.

  • Precedence The Contract documents consist of this Contract and its exhibits and attachments. In the event of a conflict between or among the Contract documents, the order of precedence shall be the provisions of the main body of this Contract, i.e., those provisions set forth in the recitals and articles of this Contract, and then the exhibits and attachments.

  • ICSID Convention means the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other States, done at Washington, March 18, 1965;
