Optional Currencies definition

Optional Currencies means Dutch Guilders (NLG), Euro (EUR) or Japanese Yen (JPY);
Optional Currencies means the currencies of Great Britain, France, Germany or any other currency acceptable to the Agent and the Lenders (and, in the case of Loans to Pacific Germany, to BankBoston), all of which currencies to either Borrower are freely tradable in the offshore interbank market and which are freely convertible into Dollars.
Optional Currencies. Marks, Pounds, Francs and, with respect to ------------------- Swing Line Loans and Letters of Credit only, Pesetas, and, with respect to Letters of Credit only, Lira and any other foreign currency which is acceptable to the Issuing Lender in its sole discretion.

  • For purposes of preparing the financial statements, calculating financial covenants and determining compliance with covenants expressed in Dollars, Optional Currencies shall be converted to Dollars in accordance with GAAP.

  • If on any date the L/C Obligations (including the Dollar Equivalent of the L/C Obligations denominated in Optional Currencies) shall exceed the L/C Commitment, then the Borrowers shall within three Business Days after notice thereof from the Administrative Agent deposit in a cash collateral account opened by the Administrative Agent an amount equal to such excess plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon.
