Opioid Settlement Funds definition

Opioid Settlement Funds means all funds allocated by the National Settlement Agreements and any Bankruptcy Resolutions to the State and Local Governments for purposes of opioid remediation activities or restitution, as well as any repayment of those funds and any interest or investment earnings that may accrue as those funds are temporarily held before being expended on opioid remediation strategies.
Opioid Settlement Funds means all funds allocated by the National Settlement Agreement and any Bankruptcy Resolutions to the State or Local Governments for purposes of opioid remediation activities or restitution, as well as any repayment of those funds and any interest or investment earnings that may accrue as those funds are temporarily held before being expended on opioid remediation strategies. Not included are funds made available in the National Settlement Agreement or any Bankruptcy Resolutions for the payment of the Partieslitigation expenses or the reimbursement of the United States Government.
Opioid Settlement Funds means monetary amounts obtained through the Teva Opioid Settlement Agreement as defined in this Agreement.

  • Of this amount, at least 1.89% of the total Opioid Settlement Funds received by New York shall be set aside for Large New York Cities, as listed in Schedule C.

Opioid Settlement Funds. – means all funds allocation by the National Settlement Agreement and Bankruptcy Resolutions (as defined by the MOA) to the State of Local Governments (as defined by the MOA) for the purposes of opioid remediation activities or restitution, as well as any repayment of those funds and any interest or investment earnings that may accrue as those funds are temporarily held before being expended on opioid remediation strategies, exclusive of costs of litigation, as contemplated by the MOA’s definition of the same.
Opioid Settlement Funds means monetary amounts obtained through the Publicis Nationwide Opioid Settlement Agreement as defined in this Schedule.

Related to Opioid Settlement Funds

  • Qualified Settlement Fund or “Settlement Fund” means the interest-bearing, settlement fund account to be established and maintained by the Escrow Agent in accordance with Article 5 herein and referred to as the Qualified Settlement Fund (within the meaning of Treas. Reg. § 1.468B-1).

  • Net Settlement Fund means the Settlement Fund less: (i) Court-awarded attorneys’ fees and expenses; (ii) Notice and Administration Expenses; (iii) Taxes; and (iv) any other fees or expenses approved by the Court.

  • Settlement Fund means the Settlement Amount plus any and all interest earned thereon.

  • Gross Settlement Amount means $633,000.00 which is the total amount Defendant agrees to pay under the Settlement except as provided in Paragraph 9 below. The Gross Settlement Amount will be used to pay Individual Class Payments, Individual PAGA Payments, the LWDA PAGA Payment, Class Counsel Fees, Class Counsel Expenses, Class Representative Service Payment and the Administrator’s Expenses.

  • Net Settlement Amount means the Gross Settlement Amount, less the following payments in the amounts approved by the Court: Individual PAGA Payments, the LWDA PAGA Payment, Class Representative Service Payment, Class Counsel Fees Payment, Class Counsel Litigation Expenses Payment, and the Administration Expenses Payment. The remainder is to be paid to Participating Class Members as Individual Class Payments.

  • Cash Settlement Amount means the “Cash Settlement Amount” as determined by the Calculation Agent in accordance with Paragraph 6.

  • Cash Settlement shall have the meaning specified in Section 14.02(a).

  • CCASS Settlement Day means the term “Settlement Day” as defined in the General Rules of CCASS.

  • Individual Settlement Payment means the amount payable from the Net
