Opioid Settlement definition

Opioid Settlement means the Opioid Deferred Cash Payments and Opioid Deferred Cash Payments Terms (each as defined in the Plan of Reorganization), as implemented through the Opioid Deferred Cash Payments Agreement and the other Settlement Documents (as defined in the Opioid Deferred Cash Payments Agreement), as amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time.
Opioid Settlement means the National Distributor Settlement and the J&J Settlement, both dated July 21, 2021.

  • Reasonable administrative costs for the State or Local Government to administer its allocation of the Opioid Settlement Funds shall not exceed actual costs, 10% of the relevant allocation of the Opioid Settlement Funds, or any administrative expense limitation imposed by the National Settlement Agreements or Bankruptcy Resolution, whichever is less.

  • The State and Participating Local Governments must collaborate to promote effective use of Opioid Settlement Funds, including through the sharing of expertise, training, and technical assistance.

  • The Parties agree to take all steps necessary to ensure that any Opioid Settlement Funds ready for distribution directly to the State and Participating Local Governments under the National Settlement Agreements or Bankruptcy Resolutions are not actually distributed to the Parties until on or after August 1, 2022, in order to allow the Parties to pursue legislative change that would take effect before the Opioid Settlement Funds are received by the Parties.

  • PJM Settlement or “PJM Settlement, Inc.” shall mean PJM Settlement, Inc. (or its successor), established by PJM as set forth in Operating Agreement, section 3.3. PJM Tariff, Xxxxxx, O.A.T.T., OATT or PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff: “PJM Tariff,” “Tariff,” “O.A.T.T.,” “OATT,” or “PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff” shall mean that certain PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff, including any schedules, appendices or exhibits attached thereto, on file with FERC and as amended from time to time thereafter.   • Cash Settlement shall have the meaning specified in Section 14.02(a).

  • Structured settlement means an arrangement for periodic payment of damages for personal injuries established by settlement or judgment in resolution of a tort claim or for periodic payments in settlement of a workers’ compensation claim.

  • Combination Settlement shall have the meaning specified in Section 14.02(a).

  • Final Settlement means permanent settlement of the Contractor’s actual allowable costs or expenditures as determined at the time of audit, which shall be completed within three years of the date the year-end cost settlement report was accepted for interim settlement by the State. If the audit is not completed within three years, the interim settlement shall be considered as the final settlement.

  • Net Settlement Amount means the Gross Settlement Amount, less the following payments in the amounts approved by the Court: Individual PAGA Payments, the LWDA PAGA Payment, Class Representative Service Payment, Class Counsel Fees Payment, Class Counsel Litigation Expenses Payment, and the Administration Expenses Payment. The remainder is to be paid to Participating Class Members as Individual Class Payments.

  • Qualified Settlement Fund or “Settlement Fund” means the interest-bearing, settlement fund account to be established and maintained by the Escrow Agent in accordance with Article 5 herein and referred to as the Qualified Settlement Fund (within the meaning of Treas. Reg. § 1.468B-1).

  • Net Share Settlement On each Settlement Date, Issuer shall deliver to Dealer a number of Shares equal to the Number of Shares to be Delivered for such Settlement Date to the account specified by Dealer and pay cash to Dealer in lieu of any fractional shares valued at the Relevant Price on the Valuation Date corresponding to such Settlement Date.   • Physical Settlement shall have the meaning specified in Section 14.02(a).

  • Resettlement means the impact of an involuntary taking of land under the Project, which taking causes affected persons to have their: (i) standard of living adversely affected; or (ii) right, title or interest in any house, land (including premises, agricultural and grazing land) or any other fixed or movable asset acquired or possessed, temporarily or permanently; or (iii) access to productive assets adversely affected, temporarily or permanently; or (iv) business, occupation, work or place of residence or habitat adversely affected, temporarily or permanently.

  • Share Settlement means a number of shares of Class A Common Stock (together with any Corresponding Rights) equal to the number of Redeemed Units.

  • Standard Settlement Period means the standard settlement period, expressed in a number of Trading Days, on the Company’s primary Trading Market with respect to the Common Stock as in effect on the date of delivery of the Notice of Exercise.

  • Gross Settlement Amount means $633,000.00 which is the total amount Defendant agrees to pay under the Settlement except as provided in Paragraph 9 below.   • Day-ahead Settlement Interval means the interval used by settlements, which shall be every one clock hour. Day-ahead System Energy Price:

  • CCASS Settlement Day means the term “Settlement Day” as defined in the General Rules of CCASS.

  • Physical Settlement Amount For any Settlement Date for which Physical Settlement is applicable, an amount in cash equal to the product of (a) the Forward Price in effect on the relevant Settlement Date multiplied by (b) the Settlement Shares for such Settlement Date.

  • Default Settlement Method means Combination Settlement with a Specified Dollar Amount of $1,000 per $1,000 principal amount of Notes; provided, however, that the Company may, from time to time, change the Default Settlement Method by sending notice of the new Default Settlement Method to the Holders, the Trustee and the Conversion Agent.

  • Ontario Settlement Class means the settlement class in respect of the Ontario Action as defined in Schedule A.

  • Cash Settlement Amount means the “Cash Settlement Amount” as determined by the Calculation Agent in accordance with Paragraph 6.

  • Cash Settlement Averaging Period means, with respect to a Security that is tendered for conversion in accordance with this Article X, the twenty (20) consecutive Trading-Day period that begins on, and includes, the third (3rd) Trading Day after the Conversion Date for such Security; provided, however, that if such Conversion Date is on or after the twenty third (23rd) scheduled Trading Day prior to the Maturity Date, then the Cash Settlement Averaging Period with respect to such conversion shall be the twenty (20) consecutive Trading-Day period that begins on and includes the twentieth (20th) scheduled Trading Day prior to the Maturity Date.
