Operation of the Railway definition

Operation of the Railway means the safe, efficient and economic construction, operation, use, inspection, repair, maintenance, protection, monitoring and security of the Railway and/or the Railway Land including the safety of the public, passengers and persons employed in connection with the Railway;

Related to Operation of the Railway

  • Parking Facilities means parking lots or other off-street areas for the parking of vehicles, including areas below or above the surface of streets.

  • Business operations means engaging in commerce in any form, including by acquiring, developing, maintaining, owning, selling, possessing, leasing, or operating equipment, facilities, personnel, products, services, personal property, real property, or any other apparatus of business or commerce.

  • Railway means the President of the Republic of India or the Administrative Officers of the Railway or Successor Railway authorized to deal with any matters, which these presents are concerned on his behalf.
