Open Elective definition

Open Elective means an elective course which is available for students of all programmes, including students of same department. Students of other Department will opt these courses subject to fulfilling of eligibility of criteria as laid down by the Department offering the course.
Open Elective means, a paper offered by the Department of Political Science, for the students of other Departments in Rani Channamma University from time to time. Open Elective means a course offered by Department for students of other Departments across the Faculty. Students have freedom to choose from a number of optional courses offered by other Department/s to add to their credits required for the completion of their respective programmes; however, if in a P.G. Centre there is only one Department for the time being, the students of that Department should study that open elective course.
