OPEB Plan definition

OPEB Plan means, collectively, any and all Debtor other post-employment benefits obligations.

OPEB Plan means any Benefit Plan that is considered an other post-employment benefit plan, including retiree medical and retiree life insurance arrangements. For the avoidance of doubt, OPEB shall not include any Benefit Plan that is a pension or other defined benefit plans, Severance plan or deferred compensation plan.

OPEB Plan means the single-employer, post-retirement welfare benefit plan sponsored by the County in accordance with the resolution of the County Commission first approved on September 25, 1990, and approved from time to time thereafter.

Examples of OPEB Plan in a sentence

• Neither the Trustee nor any Beneficiary or any party to or any other entity referred to in this Agreement will have any right to compel such contributions or transfers or any duty to determine whether any such contributions or transfers comply with the Employer's OPEB Plan or Pension Plan, as applicable.

• Effective as of the Closing Date, ITC shall assume or shall cause a member of the ITC Group to assume, and neither Entergy nor any member of the Entergy Group shall have any obligation whatsoever with regard to, all obligations and Liabilities under any Entergy OPEB Plan for benefits in respect of TransCo Employees.

• Except as provided in Sections 14.3 and 14.4, all assets in each Account and all income thereon are irrevocably dedicated to, and will be used for the exclusive purpose of, making payments of OPEB Obligations or Pension Obligations, as applicable, under the OPEB Plan or Pension Plan for which the Account was established and for paying the reasonable expenses of the Employer's participation in the Trust.

• In the performance of its duties hereunder, the Trust Administrator is entitled to rely on, and is under no obligation to investigate instructions or data received from the Plan Administrator, including whether the amount of contributions or transfers made to the Trust by the Employer comply with the Employer's OPEB Plan or Pension Plan.

• Defined Benefit OPEB Plan: An OPEB plan having terms that specify the amount of benefits to be provided at or after separation from employment.

More Definitions of OPEB Plan

OPEB Plan means health and welfare plans that provide post-employment welfare benefits (i.e., any retiree medical, dental, vision and/or life benefits) and, when immediately preceded by “Entergy,” means any OPEB Plan maintained by any member of the Entergy Group and, when immediately preceded by “ITC,” means any OPEB Plan maintained by any member of the ITC Group.

OPEB Plan means any Benefit Plan that is a “employee welfare benefit plan” or “welfare plan” (as such terms are defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA) subject to ERISA, which provides benefits for or will provide benefits for former employees or future former employees of any Loan Party or any Subsidiary thereof who have retired or separated from service (except for continued medical benefit coverage required to be provided under Section 4980B of the Code) for which any Loan Party or Subsidiary thereof has or could reasonably be expected to have any liability.

OPEB Plan means the policies, collective bargaining agreement, or other arrangements under which a Beneficiary is entitled to receive OPEB, but only if the policy, agreement, or other arrangement is specified by the Employer in the Adoption Agreement.
