Ontario Film Action definition

Ontario Film Action means the proceeding commenced by the Ontario Film Plaintiff before the Ontario Court as identified in Schedule “B” to this Settlement Agreement.

Examples of Ontario Film Action in a sentence

  • The Ontario orders approving the Notice of Certification and of Approval Hearings described in subsection 2.2(1) and certifying the Ontario Electrolytic Action and the Ontario Film Action for settlement purposes shall be proposed to the Ontario Court substantially in the forms respectively attached as Schedules B and C.

  • THIS COURT ORDERS that a Non-Settling Film Defendant may serve the motion(s) referred to in paragraph 15 above on the Settling Defendants by service on Counsel for the Settling Defendants in the Ontario Film Action.

  • THIS COURT ORDERS that, upon the Effective Date, the Ontario Film Action is hereby dismissed as against the Settling Defendants, without costs and with prejudice.

  • The Plaintiffs and the Settling Defendants agree that the orders in the Ontario Film Action approving this Settlement Agreement must include a bar order in respect of the Ontario Film Action in the same form contemplated by 7.1(1) and (2), with necessary modification.

Related to Ontario Film Action

  • Ontario Action means the Ontario Action as defined in Schedule A.

  • Quebec Action means the Quebec Action as defined in Schedule A.

  • Tort action means a civil action for damages for injury, death, or loss to person or property other than a civil action for damages for a breach of contract or another agreement between persons or government entities.

  • resolution action means the decision to place an institution or entity referred to in point (b), (c) or (d) of Article 1(1) under resolution pursuant to Article 32 or 33, the application of a resolution tool, or the exercise of one or more resolution powers;

  • Regulatory Action means an administrative, regulatory, or judicial enforcement action, proceeding, investigation or inspection, FDA Form 483 notice of inspectional observation, warning letter, untitled letter, other notice of violation letter, recall, seizure, Section 305 notice or other similar written communication, injunction or consent decree, issued by the FDA or a federal or state court.

  • Collection Action means any of the following:

  • Ontario Court means the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

  • Home state action means any administrative, civil, equitable, or criminal action permitted by the home state’s laws which are imposed on a nurse by the home state’s licensening board or other authority, including actions against an individual’s license such as revocation, suspension, probation, or any other action which affects a nurse’s authorization to practice.

  • Enforcement Action means any action of any kind to:

  • Legal Action means and includes any claim, counterclaim, demand, action, suit, counterclaim, arbitration, inquiry, proceeding or investigation before any

  • Bail-In Action means the exercise of any Write-Down and Conversion Powers by the applicable EEA Resolution Authority in respect of any liability of an EEA Financial Institution.

  • Emergency Action means any emergency action for locational or system-wide capacity shortages that either utilizes pre-emergency mandatory load management reductions or other emergency capacity, or initiates a more severe action including, but not limited to, a Voltage Reduction Warning, Voltage Reduction Action, Manual Load Dump Warning, or Manual Load Dump Action.

  • Bankruptcy Case has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.05(b).

  • Third Party Action means any suit or proceeding by a person or entity other than a Party for which indemnification may be sought by a Party under Article VII.

  • Civil action means all suits or claims of a civil nature in a state or federal court, whether cognizable as cases at law or in equity or admiralty. "Civil action" does not include any of the following:

  • Lawsuit means any lawsuit, arbitration or other dispute resolution filed by either party herein pertaining to any of this Warrant, the Facility Agreement and the Registration Rights Agreement.

  • Child custody proceeding means a proceeding in which legal custody, physical custody, or visitation with respect to a child is an issue. The term includes a proceeding for divorce, separation, neglect, abuse, dependency, guardianship, paternity, termination of parental rights, and protection from domestic violence in which the issue may appear. The term does not include a proceeding involving juvenile delinquency, contractual emancipation, or enforcement under Part 3 of this Article.

  • Emergency Action Plan means the plan referred to in Section I.G of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, detailing the activities, budget, implementation plan, and monitoring and evaluation arrangements, to respond to the Eligible Crisis or Emergency.

  • third party proceeding means any threatened, pending or completed action, suit or proceeding, whether civil, criminal, administrative, or investigative, other than an action by or in the right of the corporation.

  • Tax Action means any claim, action, suit, complaint, arbitration, audit, investigation, review, assessment, notice of deficiency or other proceeding relating to any Tax or Return by or before any Tax Authority.

  • Infringement Action has the meaning set forth in Section 9.6(b).

  • Regulatory Proceeding means a request for information, civil investigative demand, or civil proceeding commenced by service of a complaint or similar proceeding brought by or on behalf of the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, or any federal, state, local or foreign governmental entity in such entity’s regulatory or official capacity in connection with such proceeding.

  • Adverse action means a home or remote state action.

  • Action shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(j).

  • Transaction Litigation has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2(d).

  • Adverse employment action means an action that affects an em- ployee ’s compensation, promotion, transfer, work assignment, or performance evaluation, or any other employment action that would dissuade a reasonable employee from making or supporting a report of abuse or neglect under Family Code 261.101.
