One hour definition

One hour means any period of 60 consecutive minutes.
One hour s pay” means 1/2080 of pay;
One hour s pay” at Headquarters means 1/1950 of pay. At duty stations away from Headquarters, the value of one hour’s pay will be established by the Director-General;

Examples of One hour in a sentence

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits.   • Working Hour means an hour between 0900 hours and 1700 hours on a Working Day.

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator.   • Contact hour means an hour of training received through direct instruction.

  • After Hours means any time that falls outside the Parties’ normal Business Hours;

  • On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.

  • Clock hours means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of a training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school–age care competencies.

  • Working Hours means 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in the relevant location on a Business Day.

  • Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.

  • Ordinary Hours means 38 hours per week within the spread of hours which may be averaged over a 12 month period.

  • Regular Hours means the hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, excluding the following holidays: Presidents' Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

  • Credit hour means 50 minutes of classroom instruction in

  • Operating Hours means the hours listed in an early learning program parent handbook when the program is open and providing care and services to children.

  • Support Hours means between 8:30am and 5pm during Monday to Friday excluding standard UK Bank Holidays.

  • Normal Working Hours means 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, excluding PBI-observed U.S. holidays, in the time zone where the Equipment or other items are located.

  • office hours means the period beginning at 10:00 a.m. of a day and ending at 4:30 p.m. of the same day.

  • Week means seven consecutive days.
