Oil Operations definition

Oil Operations means all operations for the prospecting, research, evaluation, development, production, storage, transport and sale of the Hydrocarbons to the Delivery Point, including the treatment of Natural Gas, but excluding the refining and distribution of petroleum products.
Oil Operations means all operations authorized by the Contract and that are related to exploration, development, production, separation and treatment, storage, transportation and selling or transferring of Hydrocarbons up to the exportation point or to the Delivery Point agreed upon in Benin or to the delivery point in a refinery in Benin in accordance with the Contract; they shall cover the treatment operations of the Natural Gas but shall not include refining operations of the Crude Oil.
Oil Operations means any activity undertaken in connection with the extraction, production, storage or shipping of Oil, Gas or other hydrocarbon substances including but not limited to: Drilling, Redrilling, Reworking, Maintenance, repair, installation, construction operations, Processing, Enhanced Oil Recovery, bioremediation, Well Abandonment, remediation, clean-up, demolition, restoration, and revegetation. The term shall not include purely administrative operations (e.g. work carried on in the administrative office buildings).

  • Farm operation means any activity conducted solely or primarily for the production of one or more agricultural products or commodities, including timber, for sale or home use, and customarily producing such products or commodities in sufficient quantity to be capable of contributing materially to the operator's support.

  • Commencement of Operations means, with respect to any Facility, the completion and the performance of all of the following activities:

  • Operations means all the activities conducted by PURCHASER under this contract, including project work, logging, or post harvest activities; or the furnishing of all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to successfully complete any individual item or the entire contract.

  • Agricultural operations means the growing and harvesting of crops or the raising of fowl or animals for the primary purpose of making a profit, providing a livelihood, or conducting agricultural research or instruction by an educational institution. Agricultural operations do not include activities involving the processing or distribution of crops or fowl.

  • Mines means those devices defined in Article 2, Paragraphs 1, 4 and 5 of Protocol II annexed to the Convention on Prohibitions and Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects of 1980.
