Official Image definition

Official Image means an electronic image of an Eligible Bill, either created in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement or that otherwise complies with the requirements to permit negotiation and clearing of that Eligible Bill in accordance with the by-laws, standards, and Rules of the Canadian Payments Association.

Examples of Official Image in a sentence

  • This includes any notice that we provide to you confirming that we have received an Official Image from you after you use the Mobile Remote Deposit Services.

  • Deposit Anywhere allows you to make deposits to Accounts by taking a picture of the front and back of cheques and certain other Instruments using a Mobile Device and delivering to the Credit Union an Official Image together with associated deposit information.

  • Solely for the Mobile Deposit Service, Vancity appoints the Member as its limited purpose agent, to act on behalf of Vancity in the creation and transmission of an Official Image to Vancity.

  • You agree to take all necessary precautions to prevent any other person from creating or transmitting an Official Image to the credit of an Eligible Account.

  • In all circumstances, except where the original Instrument has been requested for presentment by Vancity, you agree to destroy the original Instrument before the expiry of 120 days after transmitting the Official Image to Vancity.

  • Further, the Depositor agrees to take all proper and necessary precautions to prevent any other person from purporting to create or transmit an Official Image to the credit of the Depositor’s Account; d) nothing in this Agreement obliges the Financial Institution to accept for deposit any item whether it is or purports to be an Official Image.

  • Any notice that we send to you in connection with the Mobile Remote Deposit Services is for information purposes only and it does not guarantee that we will accept an Official Image or that your Account will be credited.
