Certifying agency means the division of vocational rehabilitation of the department of education.
Employing agency means a division, department, or separate
Performing Agency means the State Agency or Local Government providing the goods or services defined in this Contract.
Cooperating agency means any Federal agency other than a lead agency which has jurisdiction by law or special expertise with respect to any environmental impact involved in a proposal (or a reasonable alternative) for legislation or other major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The selection and responsibilities of a cooperating agency are described in Sec. 1501.6. A State or local agency of similar qualifications or, when the effects are on a reservation, an Indian Tribe, may by agreement with the lead agency become a cooperating agency.
Procuring Agency means all State of New Mexico agencies, commissions, institutions, political subdivisions and local public bodies allowed by law to entertain procurements.
Sending agency means a party state, officer or employee thereof; a subdivision of a party state, or officer or employee thereof; a court of a party state; a person, corporation, association, charitable agency or other entity which sends, brings, or causes to be sent or brought any child to another party state.
Child-placing agency means any person who places children in foster homes, adoptive homes or
Service agency means the public agency, the State or any local government unit or special purpose district which has the authority to provide police, fire fighting, medical or other emergency services, which has requested the local telephone company to provide an E9-1-1 Telecommunications Service for the purpose of voice-reporting emergencies by the public.
Public safety agency means a functional division of a public agency, county, or the state that provides fire fighting, law enforcement, ambulance, medical, or other emergency services.
Lead planning agency means one or more public entities having stormwater management planning authority designated by the regional stormwater management planning committee pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:8-3.2, that serves as the primary representative of the committee.
Governmental function means an activity that is expressly or impliedly mandated or authorized by constitution, statute, local charter or ordinance, or other law. Governmental function includes an activity performed on public or private property by a sworn law enforcement officer within the scope of the law enforcement officer's authority, as directed or assigned by his or her public employer for the purpose of public safety.
Private agency means any person, partnership, corporation,
Sponsoring agency means a child welfare agency licensed to place children in group homes, a county agency speci- fied in s. 48.56 (1), Stats., or the department; which enters into a written contract with the licensee.
Using agency has the same meaning as defined in Texas Government Code, Section 2166.001(10).
Paying Agency Agreement means one or more Paying Agency Agreements made
Group-wide supervisor means the commissioner or other regulatory official designated as the group-wide supervisor for an internationally active insurance group under Section 31A-16-108.6.
Client/Procuring Agency means Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute & Research Center and its authorized representative.
The Procuring Agency means the organization purchasing the Goods, as named in SCC.
