Obligation Characteristics definition

Obligation Characteristics means any one or more of Not Subordinated, Specified Currency, Not Sovereign Lender, Not Domestic Currency, Not Domestic Law, Listed and Not Domestic Issuance, and:
Obligation Characteristics means any one or more of Not Subordinated, Specified Currency, Not Sovereign Lender, Not Domestic Currency, Not Domestic Law, Listed and Not Domestic Issuance specified in the applicable Final Terms, where:
Obligation Characteristics means, as at the relevant Event Date, the Obligation Characteristics which are set out in the relevant Pricing Supplement;

Examples of Obligation Characteristics in a sentence

  • For purposes of the application of the Obligation Characteristics or the Deliverable Obligation Characteristics to an Underlying Obligation, references to the Reference Entity shall be deemed to refer to the Underlying Obligor.

  • For purposes of the application of the Obligation Characteristics or the Valuation Obligation Characteristics to an Underlying Obligation, references to the Reference Entity shall be deemed to refer to the Underlying Obligor.

  • References to Deliverable Obligation, Deliverable Obligation Category and Deliverable Obligation Characteristics in the definition of Reference Obligation are for convenience only and are not intended to amend Cash Settlement as the Settlement Method.

  • If more than one of "Assignable Loan", "Consent Required Loan" and "Direct Loan Participation" are specified as Valuation Obligation Characteristics in the Standard, the Valuation Obligations may include any Loan that satisfies any one of such Valuation Obligation Characteristics specified and need not satisfy all such Valuation Obligation Characteristics.

  • If either of the Obligation Characteristics "Listed" or "Not Domestic Issuance" is specified as being applicable in the Standard or the Pricing Supplement, the Securities shall be construed as though the relevant Obligation Characteristic had been specified as an Obligation Characteristic only with respect to Bonds.
