Nursing Center definition

Nursing Center means an organization in which the client has direct access to professional nursing service. Nurses in these centers are responsible and accountable for diagnosing, treating, and promoting health and optimal functioning of the client. Overall center accountability remains with the nurse executive. Nursing centers are commonly referred to as nurse-managed clinics, community nursing centers, nursing clinics, or nursing practice arrangements.

  • Nursing care means the practice of nursing by a licensed nurse, including tasks and functions relating to the provision of "nursing care" that are taught or delegated under specified conditions by a registered nurse to a person other than licensed nursing personnel, as governed by ORS chapter 678 and rules adopted by the Oregon State Board of Nursing in OAR chapter 851.

  • Village means a village specified by the Governor by public notification to be a village for the purposes of this Part and includes a group of villages so specified.
