NPA definition

NPA or the “Number Plan Area” also referred to as an “area code” refers to the three digit code which precedes the NXX in a dialing sequence and identifies the general calling area within the North American Numbering Plan scope to which a call is to be routed (i.e., NPA/NXX-XXXX).
NPA means Numbering Plan Area, referred to as an area code and the three digit indicator that is defined by the “A”, “B” and “C” digits of a 10-digit telephone number within the NANP.

Examples of NPA in a sentence

  • When CONTRACTOR is a NPA, CONTRACTOR shall be provided with a LEA-developed/approved calendar prior to the initiation of services.

  • When CONTRACTOR is a NPA and/or related services provider, the total number of minutes per school day provided by CONTRACTOR shall be specified in the student’s ISA developed in accordance with the student’s IEP.
