Novartis Technology definition

Novartis Technology means the Novartis Know-How and Novartis Patents.
Novartis Technology means Novartis’ interest in Novartis Program Technology, Novartis Product-Specific Patents, Novartis Know-How, Novartis Patents, including Novartis Background Technology, and any Trademarks described in Section 5.6, owned, used, developed by, or licensed to Novartis or its Affiliates (other than from Akcea pursuant to this Agreement) that are necessary to Develop, Manufacture or Commercialize a Product.
Novartis Technology means, collectively, Novartis Know-How, Novartis Patents, Novartis Collaboration IP and Novartis’s interest in Joint Collaboration IP.

  • Subject to remainder of this Section 14.3.2, as between the Parties, Novartis will have the sole responsibility to, at Novartis’s sole discretion, and sole responsibility for all applicable Patents Costs, to Prosecute and Maintain all Patents within Novartis Technology (other than within Joint Collaboration IP), in Novartis’s name.

Novartis Technology means the Licensed Product NDA and all clinical studies conducted by NOVARTIS in support of the Licensed Product NDA.
