Notification Costs definition

Notification Costs means reasonable fees, costs and expenses in respect of notifying any natural person or legal entity whose data or information has been or may have been lost, or the cost of notifying any data protection authority or equivalent, as a result of a Data Liability Event.
Notification Costs means and includes any and all Liabilities and/or Expenses suffered or incurred by Purchaser in investigating whether notification of individuals is required and the preparation and delivery of notices to individuals and the provision of credit monitoring services. “Personally Identifiable Information” means and includes any information that alone or in combination with other information relates to a specific, identifiable individual person. Specific information that can be associated with Personally Identifiable Information, such as a user ID, shall also constitute Personally Identifiable Information. For example, an individual’s age alone is not Personally Identifiable Information, but if such age were capable of being associated with one or more specific, identifiable, individuals then such age would be deemed Personally Identifiable Information. Personally Identifiable Information also includes the fact that an individual has a relationship with Purchaser.
