Normal Track definition

Normal Track means a list of tariff lines of which applied MFN tariff rates shall be gradually reduced and eliminated in accordance with the modality set out in Annex 1 of the Agreement on Trade in Goods under this Framework Agreement; Parties means the ASEAN Member Countries and Korea collectively; Party means an ASEAN Member Country or Korea; WTO means the World Trade Organisation; and WTO Agreement means the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organisation, done on 15 April 1994 and the other agreements negotiated thereunder.

Examples of Normal Track in a sentence

  • The Parties shall progressively reduce and eliminate duties and other restrictive regulations of commerce (except, where necessary, those permitted under Article XXIV(8)(b) of GATT 1994) on substantially all trade in goods among the Parties, in accordance with the provisions, schedules and programme for the Normal Track in the Agreement on Trade in Goods under this Framework Agreement.

  • Tariff lines placed in the Normal Track by each Party on its own accord shall have their respective applied MFN tariff rates gradually reduced and eliminated in accordance with the modalities set out in Annex 1 of this Agreement with the objective of achieving the targets prescribed in the thresholds therein.

  • For all tariff lines placed in the Normal Track where the applied MFN tariff rates are at 0%, they shall remain at 0%.

  • Each Party shall eliminate all its tariffs for tariff lines placed in the Normal Track not later than 1 January 2012.

  • Each Party shall reduce to 0-5% not later than 1 January 2007 the tariff rates for at least 60% of its tariff lines placed in the Normal Track.

  • Tariff lines in the Normal Track, which are subject to specific tariff rates, shall have such tariffs reduced to zero, in equal proportions in accordance with the timeframes provided in the Schedules set out in paragraph 1 of this Annex.

  • For Viet Nam, the percentage of Normal Track tariff lines to have their tariffs eliminated not later than 1 January 2013 shall be determined not later than 31 December 2004.

  • If a Party places a tariff line in the Normal Track, that Party shall enjoy the tariff concessions other Parties have made for that tariff line as specified in and applied pursuant to the relevant Schedules either in Annex 1 or Annex 2 together with the undertakings and conditions set out therein.

  • Each Party shall reduce to 0-5% not later than 1 July 2005 the tariff rates for at least 40% of its tariff lines placed in the Normal Track.

  • Each Party shall eliminate all its tariffs for tariff lines placed in the Normal Track not later than 1 January 2010, with flexibility to have tariffs on some tariff lines, not exceeding 150 tariff lines, eliminated not later than 1 January 2012.

Related to Normal Track

  • Normal Fare means the highest priced fare established for a first, business or economy class service during the period of applicability.

  • Initial Tranche means the first Tranche of a Series of ETP Securities issued.

  • Local Traffic means traffic (excluding Commercial Mobile Radio Service “CMRS” traffic) that is originated and terminated within Embarq’s local calling area, or mandatory extended area service (EAS) area, as defined by the Commission or, if not defined by the Commission, then as defined in existing Embarq Tariffs. For this purpose, Local Traffic does not include any ISP-Bound Traffic.

  • Normal Pregnancy or “Childbirth” means a pregnancy or childbirth that is free of complications or problems.

  • Agricultural tractor means every self-propelling vehicle designed or used for drawing other vehicles or wheeled machinery but having no provision for carrying loads independently of such other vehicles, and used principally for agricultural purposes.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • international traffic means any transport by a ship or aircraft operated by an enterprise that has its place of effective management in a Contracting State, except when the ship or aircraft is operated solely between places in the other Contracting State;

  • Recreational trail means a trail, lane, path, road, or other right of way that because of its scenic, wild, or topographical nature, has as its primary purpose recreational use of the trail itself.

  • Non-Retail Behind The Meter Generation means Behind the Meter Generation that is used by municipal electric systems, electric cooperatives, or electric distribution companies to serve load.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Commissioning Period means, with respect to each Subproject, the period commencing upon the first delivery of Feed Gas to the Subproject in accordance with Sections 4.8 and 11.1 of the Agreement continuing through achievement of RFSU, commissioning, Start Up, Performance Testing and achievement of Substantial Completion for such Subproject.

  • Normal distribution channel means a chain of custody for

  • CIC Protection Period means the two-year period beginning on the date of a Change in Control and ending on the day before the second annual anniversary of the date of the Change in Control.

  • Normal Maximum Generation means the highest output level of a generating resource under normal operating conditions.

  • Initial Transfer Date means the Series Issuance Date for the first Series of Transition Bonds.

  • Single Withdrawal Tranche means the amount of the Loan allocated to the category entitled “Single Withdrawal Tranche” in the table set forth in Part B of Section II of Schedule 1 to this Agreement.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Extended Term shall have the meaning given such term in Section 2.4.

  • Normal Market Size for CFD trading shall mean the maximum number of units of the Underlying Asset that are transmitted by the Company for execution.

  • Acid Rain Program means the sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides air pollution control program established pursuant to Title IV of the Act under 40 CFR Parts 72-78.

  • Policy Commencement Date means the date of commencement of the Policy as specified in the Schedule.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.
