Nondomestic User definition

Nondomestic User means any user other than a domestic user (i.e., any user that discharges anything other than segregated normal strength domestic waste into the POTW).
Nondomestic User means any User other than a Domestic User (i.e., any User that discharges anything other than segregated Normal Strength Domestic Waste into the POTW), including, but not limited to, an Industrial User. The determination of whether or not a User is a “Nondomestic User” shall be made by POTW Superintendent at the POTW Superintendent’s sole discretion as determined necessary by the POTW Superintendent to achieve the purposes and objectives of this Ordinance. Any User that has the reasonable potential, as determined by the POTW Superintendent, to discharge any waste other than normal strength domestic waste into the POTW, may be deemed a Nondomestic User for purposes of this Ordinance. For the purposes of this Ordinance, and notwithstanding any other provision of this Ordinance to the contrary, any local unit of government that contributes, or causes or permits the contribution or introduction of wastewater or pollutants into the POTW, whether intentional or unintentional, and whether direct or indirect, shall be considered to be Nondomestic User.

The determination of whether or not a user is a “nondomestic user” shall be made by the Authorized Local Unit Representative in the Representative’s sole discretion as determined necessary by the Representative to achieve the purposes and objectives of this Article. Any user that has the reasonable potential, as determined by the Authorized Local Unit Representative, to discharge any waste other than normal strength domestic waste into the POTW, may be deemed a nondomestic user for purposes of this Article.

Examples of Nondomestic User in a sentence

  • Non-domestic User - Any user that does not meet the criteria for categorization as a domestic user shall be considered a non-domestic user.

  • A change in discharge that may convert a Nondomestic User into a Significant Industrial User, or a Nondomestic User into a Categorical User.

Conversely, households not charged a UEC are ineligible for assistance from the fund.   • Domestic wastewater means wastewater with a measured strength less than “high-strength wastewater” and is the type of wastewater normally discharged from, or similar to, that discharged from plumbing fixtures, appliances and other household devices including, but not limited to toilets, bathtubs, showers, laundry facilities, dishwashing facilities, and garbage disposals. Domestic wastewater may include wastewater from commercial buildings such as office buildings, retail stores, and some restaurants, or from industrial facilities where the domestic wastewater is segregated from the industrial wastewater. Domestic wastewater may also include incidental RV holding tank dumping but does not include wastewater consisting of a significant portion of RV holding tank wastewater such as at RV dump stations. Domestic wastewater does not include wastewater from industrial processes.

  • Subsidized Xxxxxxxx Loan means a Loan for which the interest rate is governed by Section 427A(a) or 427A(d) of the Higher Education Act.

  • Excluded Domestic Subsidiary means any Domestic Subsidiary that is (a) a direct or indirect Subsidiary of an Excluded Foreign Subsidiary or (b) an Excluded Domestic Holdco.
