No Substitutions definition

No Substitutions means bidders are required to submit pricing for goods/materials as noted in specifications. If the bid does not include no substitutions language, the respective bidder can submit pricing for a substitution and/or alternate. You must identify the brand, model, part number, etc., method or process. Bidders may include supporting documents. The City reserves the right to determine equivalent.

Examples of No Substitutions in a sentence

  • No Substitutions can be made to the SLBE and SELBE subcontractor without the prior written approval of the District.

  • Any makes, models or trade names mentioned in the Specifications are for the purpose of stating a standard, type, quality or cost and (except where "No Substitutions" is specified as to any item or class of items) are not intended to limit bids to that one product, but rather to describe a standard desired or acceptable, and to establish a basis for equality.

  • emissions of substances not controlled by emission limits means emissions of substances to air, water or land from the activities, either from the emission points specified in schedule 3 or from other localised or diffuse sources, which are not controlled by an emission limit.

  • Local political subdivision means a county, municipal corporation, township, conservancy district, soil and water conservation district, joint recreation district, park district, or other similar park authority.

  • Priced Schedule of Quantities means the schedule of quantities duly priced with the accepted quoted rates of the contractor.
