Nicotine Replacement Therapy definition

Nicotine Replacement Therapy means a product, including a product on the Preventive Drug List that is used to deliver nicotine to an individual attempting to cease the use of tobacco products, approved by the FDA as an aid for the cessation of the use of tobacco products and obtained under a prescription written by an authorized prescriber. Coverage for Nicotine Replacement Therapy will be provided on an unlimited yearly basis.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy means treatment with any of the nicotine products listed in Section B of the Pharmaceutical Schedule, i.e. nicotine patches, gum and lozenges
Nicotine Replacement Therapy means a product that: is used to deliver nicotine to an individual attempting to stop using tobacco products; and is obtained under a prescription written by an authorized prescriber. It does not include any over-the-counter (OTC) product that may be obtained without a prescription.
