Nice Classification definition

Nice Classification means the classification established by the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks, signed at Nice on June 15, 1957, as revised and amended;
Nice Classification means the international classification of goods and services, approved by the Nice Agreement concerning International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks of 15 June 1957, as revised at Stockholm on 14 July 1967, at Geneva on 13 May 1977 and amended in Geneva on 2 October 1979.
Nice Classification means the classification of goods and services for the registration of marks published from time to time under the Nice Agreement;

  • The goods and services must be indicated in precise terms, preferably using words appearing in the Alphabetical List of the Nice Classification.

  • Services in class 41 of the Nice Classification: ‘Organisation of events; reports and information about education and entertainment; educational services; providing of training; entertainment; sporting and cultural activities; organization of exhibitions for cultural or educational purposes; publication of books; publication of texts (other than publicity texts);arranging and conducting of colloquiums, competitions, conferences, congresses, seminars, symposiums’.
