New Zealand Currency definition

New Zealand Currency means such coin or currency of the Government of the Commonwealth of New Zealand as at the time shall be legal tender for payment of public and private debts.

  • Relevant Currency means the currency specified as such or, if none is specified, the currency in which the Notes are denominated;

  • Approved Currency means each of Dollars and each Alternative Currency.

  • Permitted Currency means (1) the legal tender of any Group of 7 country (or any country that becomes a member of the Group of 7 if such Group of 7 expands its membership) or (2) the legal tender of any country which, as of the date of such change, is a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and has a local currency long-term debt rating of either AAA or higher assigned to it by Standard & Poor's, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. or any successor to the rating business thereof, Aaa or higher assigned to it by Moody's Investors Service, Inc. or any successor to the rating business thereof or AAA or higher assigned to it by Fitch Ratings or any successor to the rating business thereof;

  • Designated Currency shall have the same meaning assigned to it in Section 3.12.

  • Agreed Currency means Dollars or any Alternative Currency, as applicable.

  • Optional Currency means a currency (other than the Base Currency) which complies with the conditions set out in Clause 4.3 (Conditions relating to Optional Currencies).

  • Issue Currency or "SEK" means Swedish Krona. "Launch Date" means 04 March 2022.

  • Payment Currency has the meaning given in Clause 21.4;

  • Offshore Currency means any lawful currency (other than dollars) that the relevant Issuing Bank with respect to any Offshore Currency Letter of Credit, in its sole reasonable opinion, at any time determines to be (a) freely traded in the offshore interbank foreign exchange markets, (b) freely transferable and (c) freely convertible into dollars.

  • Settlement Currency means Pounds sterling ("GBP").

  • Base Currency means the first currency in the Currency Pair against which the Client buys or sells the Quote Currency.

  • Denomination Currency has the meaning specified in Section 14(b).

  • Obligation Currency shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 11.18(a).

  • Other Currency has the meaning specified in Section 1.15.

  • Reference Currency means the currency specified as such in the applicable Final Terms.

  • Eligible Currency means any currency other than Dollars (i) that is readily available, (ii) that is freely traded, (iii) in which deposits are customarily offered to banks in the London interbank market, (iv) that is convertible into Dollars in the international interbank market and (v) as to which a Dollar Equivalent Amount may be readily calculated. If, after the designation by the Revolving Credit Lenders of any currency as an Agreed Currency, (x) currency control or other exchange regulations are imposed in the country in which such currency is issued with the result that different types of such currency are introduced, (y) such currency is, in the reasonable determination of the Administrative Agent, no longer readily available or freely traded or (z) in the reasonable determination of the Administrative Agent, a Dollar Equivalent Amount of such currency is not readily calculable, the Administrative Agent shall promptly notify the Lenders and the Company, and such currency shall no longer be an Agreed Currency until such time as all of the Revolving Credit Lenders agree to reinstate such currency as an Agreed Currency and promptly, but in any event within five Business Days of receipt of such notice from the Administrative Agent, the Borrower shall repay all Loans in such affected currency or convert such Loans into Loans in Dollars or another Agreed Currency, subject to the other terms set forth in Article II.
