New Work definition

New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.

Post-Industrial Waste means industrial by-products which would otherwise go to disposal and wastes generated after completion of a manufacturing process, but does not include internally generated scrap commonly returned to industrial or manufacturing processes. Recycling means the series of activities by which materials that are no longer useful to the generator are collected, sorted, processed, and converted into raw materials and used in the production of new products. This definition excludes the use of these materials as a fuel substitute or for energy production.
New Work means any installation, construction, repair, maintenance, alteration, extension or removal work of the Company Facilities in Public Places except;

Examples of New Work in a sentence

  • If the State should require Contractor to perform New Work, Additional Services or make changes to the Services that would affect the Contract completion schedule or the amount of compensation due Contractor (a “Change”), the State shall submit a written request for Contractor to furnish a proposal for carrying out the requested Change (a “Change Request”).

  • If the State requests or directs the Contractor to perform any Services/Deliverables that are outside the scope of the Contractor’s responsibilities under the Contract (“New Work”), the Contractor must notify the State promptly, and before commencing performance of the requested activities, that it believes the requested activities are New Work.

  • If the Contractor does so notify the State, then such a service or deliverable shall be governed by the Change Request procedure in this Section.In the event prices or service levels are not acceptable to the State, the Additional Services or New Work shall be subject to competitive bidding based upon the specifications.
