New Pavement definition

New Pavement means a newly constructed pavement, reconstructed road or asphalt overlay which is placed to a new geometric design not referenced to the original pavement surface.
New Pavement means any pavement areas where DB Contractor constructs or fully reconstructs the Project pavement as required in Sections 2.1.1, 2.3, 2.4.1 and 2.5.1 of Exhibit 1 to this DBA.

  • Project Nature – The project is classified as a Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (3R) project with a net increase of at least 5,000 square feet of New Pavement, or as a New and Reconstruction project.

Related to New Pavement

  • Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.

  • Enslavement means the exercise of any or all of the powers attaching to the right of ownership over a person and includes the exercise of such power in the course of trafficking in persons, in particular women and children;

  • Permeable pavement means paving material that absorbs water or allows water to infiltrate through the paving material. "Permeable pavement" materials include porous concrete, permeable interlocking concrete pavers, concrete grid pavers, porous asphalt, and any other material with similar characteristics.

  • Driveway means a vehicle access route between the carriageway of a road and a use on a parcel;

  • Sidewalk means that portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines intended for the use of pedestrians.

  • Landscape means an area, as perceived by people, whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural and/or human factors;

  • Lobby means a covered space in which all the adjoining rooms open;

  • Tandem parking means that two or more automobiles are parked on a driveway or in any other location on a lot, lined up behind one another.

  • Campsite means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.

  • Balcony means a cantilevered deck that projects from a wall of a building and which, except for a railing, is not enclosed; (Bylaw 5609)

  • Deck means a walkway immediately adjacent to a swimming pool.

  • Network Area means the 50 mile radius around the local school campus the Named Insured is attending.

  • Walkway means a paved or unpaved trail or pathway or a structure constructed of wood or other material that is neces- sary due to the difficulty of the terrain for access to the river.

  • Recreational area means areas, excluding private single family residential areas, designated for active play, recreation or public assembly in parks, sports fields, picnic grounds, amphitheaters or golf course tees, fairways, roughs, surrounds and greens.

  • Areas means such areas within the DAS Areas that are identified in Annexure A annexed to this Agreement;

  • New Building ’ means a new construction to house a complete motor vehicle as- sembly process, where that construction includes the pouring or construction of a new foundation and floor, the erection of a new frame and roof, and the instal- lation of new plumbing and electrical and other utilities;

  • Landscape architect means a person who holds a license to practice landscape architecture in the state of California Business and Professions Code, Section 5615.

  • Parking Garage means a building or portion of a building, other than a private garage, that is used for the temporary parking of motor vehicles;

  • Heritage Building means a Building designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18, or any successor legislation, or a Building designated under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act,R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18, or any successor legislation, which has been identified as a significant heritage resource in a conservation district plan and any Building listed in the Markham Register of Property of Cultural Heritage Value of Interest;
