New Invention definition

New Invention means any invention or technology which has not been anticipated by publication in any document or used in the country or elsewhere in the world before the date of filing of patent application with complete specification, i.e., the subject matter has not fallen in public domain or that it does not form part of the state of the art;
New Invention means any possibly patentable discovery or invention ------------- conceived and/or reduced to practice by RIBOZYME AND/or ATUGEN in the Field, or by ATUGEN in the RIBOZYME Field.
New Invention means any Invention that is first conceived, first reduced to practice or otherwise first discovered by or on behalf of either or both Parties in the course of conducting the Target Validation Activities, Research Activities or Development Activities.

  • For New Inventions or Discoveries developed solely by University, the University or its designee, consistent with the University’s technology transfer policies, will offer Sponsor the first option to enter into a royalty-bearing license agreement to obtain an exclusive, royalty-bearing license to all rights in such New Invention or Discovery, which must be exercised within sixty (60) days of Sponsor’s receipt of notice of such invention.

  • A hospitalization and surgical plan and a $15,000.00 life insurance plan shall be provided for all employees and their dependents.

  • The University shall promptly notify Sponsor, in writing, of any New Invention or Discovery.

  • A failure by the Sponsor to timely notify University shall be deemed a waiver of the Sponsor's option but only with respect to the identified New Invention or Discovery and not to other New Inventions or Discoveries subject to this Agreement.

More Definitions of New Invention

New Invention means any potentially patentable invention arising from the Research Program which is (i) conceived during the term of this Agreement by employees or agents of GLADSTONE or by employees or agents of both GLADSTONE and CNPI jointly and (ii) constructively or actually reduced to practice during the term of this Agreement.
New Invention means any invention, discovery, concept, idea, information or improvement, whether or not patentable, that is (i) made, developed or conceived in whole or in part while Demopulos is an employee, agent, officer, director, or shareholder of Omeros, and (ii) is derived from the Technology.

New Invention means any invention, discovery, concept, idea, information or improvement, whether or not patentable, that is (i) made, developed or conceived in whole or in part while Pxxxxx is an employee, agent, officer or shareholder of Omeros, and (ii) is derived from the Technology.
