Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) means any company or person authorized to provide local exchange services in competition with an ILEC.

R E C I T A L S A. The parties desire to enter into this Agreement setting forth the terms and conditions of the employment relationship between the Corporation and the Executive.

The MECAB document, published by ATIS as ATIS/OBF-MECAB- Issue 6, February 1998, contains the recommended guidelines for the billing of access services provided to an IXC by two (2) or more LECs, or by one LEC in two (2) or more states within a single LATA.
Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) is As Defined in the Act.

Universal Digital Loop Carrier (UDLC means the DLC system that has a CO terminal channel bank that is connected to the CO switches on the analog side.
Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) Shall have the meaning set forth in 47 U.S.C. §153. Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG): The Telcordia Technologies reference customarily used to identify NPA-NXX routing and homing information, as well as equipment designation. Local Interconnection Trunk or Local Interconnection Trunk Group: One-way or two-way trunks or trunk groups used to exchange Local Traffic between a switch of one Party and a switch of the other Party.
Interexchange Carrier (IXC means a carrier that provides, directly or indirectly, InterLATA or IntraLATA Telephone Toll Services.
Integrated Digital Loop Carrier means a subscriber loop carrier system that is twenty-four (24) local Loop transmission paths combined into a 1.544 Mbps digital signal which integrates within the switch at a DS1 level.
Series B Equipment Notes means Equipment Notes issued and designated as “Series B Equipment Notes” under the Indenture, in the original principal amount and maturities as specified in Schedule I to the Indenture under the heading “Series B Equipment Notes” and bearing interest at the Debt Rate for Series B Equipment Notes specified in Schedule I to the Indenture.
X-ray tube means any electron tube which is designed to be used primarily for the production of X-rays.
Term SOFR Rate means, with respect to any Term Benchmark Borrowing and for any tenor comparable to the applicable Interest Period, the Term SOFR Reference Rate at approximately 5:00 a.m., Chicago time, two U.S. Government Securities Business Days prior to the commencement of such tenor comparable to the applicable Interest Period, as such rate is published by the CME Term SOFR Administrator.
