Network Transmission definition

Network Transmission. Service shall mean transmission service provided pursuant to the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Part III of the PJM Tariff.
Network Transmission has the meaning given to this term in the RTO tariff applicable to a Unit.

  • A purchase of Spot Market Energy by an External Market Buyer shall be delivered to a bus or busses at the border of the PJM Control Area specified by the Office of the Interconnection, or to load in the Control Area that is not served by Network Transmission Service, using Point-to-Point Transmission Service paid for by the External Market Buyer.

  • Each Party must submit to the Office of the Interconnection a notice of any change in its plans for Capacity Resources three months (or such shorter time period consistent with the ability of the Office of the Interconnection to evaluate requests for Network Transmission Service, the designation of Network Resources or the identification of a Point of Receipt for Firm Point-to-Point Service) prior to each month in a Planning Period.

  • The Load Serving Entity for the end users has arrangements in place for Network Transmission Service or Point-To-Point Transmission Service for all PJM Interchange Energy Market purchases.

  • The cost of Reactive Services for the purpose of maintaining reactive reliability in a transmission zone in the PJM Region for each Operating Day shall be allocated and charged to each Market Participant in proportion to its deliveries of energy to load in such transmission zone, served under Network Transmission Service, in megawatt-hours during that Operating Day, as compared to all such deliveries for all Market Participants in such transmission zone.

  • All television translator licenses identified on SCHEDULE 1.30 shall be transferred and assigned to Classic Network Transmission, L.L.C. ("Transmission, L.L.C.").

  • Rather on or before January 1, 2008, Company must apply to and obtain Network Transmission Service from Authority, as defined by the procedures of the Authority's Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT).

  • The Capacity and Energy provided by Seller will comply with all requirements for Network Resources under the Transmission Provider’s OATT and Buyer’s Network Transmission Agreements with Transmission Provider.

  • The Companies, in their regulated charges, will bxxx Standard Offer Service customers for NEPOOL Regional Network Transmission Service ("RNS"), any Local Area Network Transmission Service ("LNS") which is the transmission, if any, between the NEPOOL PTF and the Companies' distribution system, and for the Companies' distribution costs.

  • TRANSMISSION BILLING DEMAND ("TBD"): The kilowatt demand for which NTUA shall pay the Network Transmission Charge in accordance with the NTUA-TEP Network Transmission Agreement.

  • Internal Market Buyer" shall mean a Market Buyer making purchases of energy from the PJM Interchange Energy Market for ultimate consumption by end-users inside the PJM Control Area that are served by Network Transmission Service.

Related to Network Transmission

  • Transmission means transmission by operation of law, devolution on the personal representative of a deceased person and any other mode of transfer, not being assignment;

  • Transmission links are the means used for inter-connecting distributed units for the purpose of conveying signals, operating data or an energy supply. This equipment is generally electrical but may, in some part, be mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic.

  • Transmission Services the services provided by the Transmission Provider(s) to the Distributor;

  • Transmission Service means Point-To-Point Transmission Service provided under Tariff, Part II on a firm and non-firm basis.

  • Transmission Owner means a Member that owns or leases with rights equivalent to ownership Transmission Facilities and is a signatory to the PJM Transmission Owners Agreement. Taking transmission service shall not be sufficient to qualify a Member as a Transmission Owner. Transmission Owner Attachment Facilities:

  • Transmission Licensee means any person who is authorised by a Transmission Licence to transmit electricity, acting in that capacity;

  • Money transmission means any of the following:

  • telecommunication service means service of any description (including electronic mail, voice mail, data services, audio text services, video text services, radio paging and cellular mobile telephone services) which is made available to users by means of any transmission or reception of signs, signals, writing, images and sounds or intelligence of any nature, by wire, radio, visual or other electromagnetic means;

  • Transmission pipeline means any high pressure transmission pipeline connected to, but excluding the Maui Pipeline, that is used for the open access transportation of Gas, and includes all items of plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings directly appurtenanced to that pipeline, but excluding any item which is controlled by a party other than that pipeline’s TP Welded Party and any low pressure distribution system.

  • Telecommunications System means a system for conveying visual images, sounds or other information by electronic means;

  • telecommunications network means any wire, radio, optical, or other electromagnetic system used to route, switch, or transmit telecommunications;

  • Telecommunication means the emission, transmission or reception through the agency of electricity or electromagnetism of any sounds, signals, signs, writing, images or intelligence of any nature by wire, radio, optical or other electromagnetic systems whether or not such signs, signals, writing, images, sounds or intelligence have been subjected to rearrangement, computation or other processes by any means in the course of their transmission, emission or reception;

  • CTU or Central Transmission Utility means the Central Transmission Utility as defined in Sub-Section (10) of section (2) of the EA-2003.

  • Transmission Operator means the entity responsible for the reliability of its “local” Transmission System, and that operates or directs the operations of the Transmission Facilities.

  • Transmission Charges means the charges payable to TSP by Long Term Transmission Customer(s) pursuant to the TSA, as adopted by the Appropriate Commission;

  • Telecommunication Services means the offering of Telecommunications for a fee directly to the public, or to such classes of users as to be effectively available directly to the public, regardless of the facilities used.

  • Transmission System means the facilities controlled or operated by the Transmission Provider within the PJM Region that are used to provide transmission service under Tariff, Part II and Part III. Transmission Withdrawal Rights:

  • Transmission Business means the authorised business of a transmission licensee to transmit electricity, whether for its own account or for that of any other person, through any system owned and/ or operated by such licensee;
