Network Element definition

Network Element is As Defined in the Act.
Network Element means a facility or equipment used in the provision of a Telecommunications Service. Such term also includes features, functions, and capabilities that are provided by means of such facility or equipment, including subscriber numbers, databases, signaling systems, and information sufficient for billing and collection or used in the transmission, routing, or other provision of a Telecommunications Service.
Network Element is defined to mean a facility or equipment provided by BellSouth on an unbundled basis as is used by the CLEC in the provision of a telecommunications service. These unbundled network elements are consistent with the requirements of the FCC 51.319 rule. For purposes of this Agreement, combinations of Network Elements shall be referred to as “Combinations.”

Examples of Network Element in a sentence

  • Any request by AT&T for SBC-AMERITECH to provide any Network Element or access thereto that is different in quality shall be made by AT&T in accordance with Section 9.6.

  • An unbundled Network Element or a combination of unbundled Network Elements obtained, pursuant to the Federal Unbundling Rules, under this Agreement or a Verizon UNE Tariff.

  • If the Commission has not approved a TELRIC rate for a particular Network Element to be provided on an unbundled basis or Combination of Network Elements, SBC-AMERITECH shall establish an interim rate using a methodology consistent with Section 252(d) of the Act.

  • Subject to the requirements of this Agreement, the Act, the Commission and the FCC, AT&T may, subject to the payment to SBC-AMERITECH of all applicable charges, add to, delete from or change a purchased Resale Service or Network Element in the provision of service to its Customer.

  • Any request by AT&T for access to a Network Element on an unbundled basis or a Combination or a standard of quality thereof that is not otherwise provided by the terms of this Agreement at the time of such request shall be made pursuant to a Bona Fide Request and shall be subject to the payment by AT&T of all applicable costs in accordance with Section 252(d)(1) of the Act to process, develop, install and provide such Network Element, Combination or access.


More Definitions of Network Element

Network Element is defined to mean a facility or equipment Global Connection used in the provision of a telecommunications service. For purposes of this Agreement, combinations of Network Elements shall be referred to as “Combinations.”
Network Element. Shall have the meaning set forth in 47 U.S.C. §153.

Network Element means any component of a transmission system, including interconnectors, or of a distribution system, including a closed distribution system, such as a single line, a single circuit, a single HVDC system, a single transformer, a single phase-shifting transformer, or a voltage compensation installation;
Network Element is defined to mean a facility or equipment ACN used in the provision of a qualifying service, as defined by the FCC. ACN may not access a Network Element for the sole purpose of providing non-qualifying services as defined by the FCC. For purposes of this Agreement, combinations of Network Elements shall be referred to as “Combinations.”
Network Element means a facility or equipment used in supplying a telecommunications service, including features, functions and capabilities provided by means of that facility or equipment;
Network Element means a facility or equipment used in the provision of a telecommunications service. Such term also includes features, functions and capabilities that are provided by means of such facility or equipment, including end-user numbers, databases, signaling systems and information sufficient for billing and collection or used in the transmission, routing or other provision of a telecommunications service.
