Network Element definition

Network Element is As Defined in the Act.
Network Element means a facility or equipment used in the provision of a Telecommunications Service. Such term also includes features, functions, and capabilities that are provided by means of such facility or equipment, including subscriber numbers, databases, signaling systems, and information sufficient for billing and collection or used in the transmission, routing, or other provision of a Telecommunications Service.
Network Element is defined to mean a facility or equipment provided by BellSouth on an unbundled basis as is used by the CLEC in the provision of a telecommunications service. These unbundled network elements are consistent with the requirements of the FCC 51.319 rule. For purposes of this Agreement, combinations of Network Elements shall be referred to as “Combinations.”

Examples of Network Element in a sentence

  • For the purposes of this Section, “assets” means any Interconnection, Resale Service, Lawful Unbundled Network Element, function, facility, product or service provided under that Agreement.

  • The acquiring CLEC shall be responsible for issuing all service orders required to migrate any Interconnection, Resale Service, Lawful Unbundled Network Element, function, facility, product or service provided hereunder.

  • When purchasing a Combination, MCIm will have access to all features and capabilities of each individual Network Element that comprisessuch Combinationand the specific technical and interface requirements for each of the Network Elements shall apply, to the extent technically feasible given the specific manner in which MCIm has requested that the elements be combined.

  • Ameritech shall provide MCIm access to each unbundled Network Element, along with all of such unbundled Network Element's features,functions and capabilities in accordance with the terms and conditions of Article and as required by the Act, the FCC or the Commission, in a manner that shall allow MCIm to provide any Telecommunications Service that can be offered by means of that Network Element; provided that the use of such Network Element is consistent with the Act.


More Definitions of Network Element

Network Element is defined to mean a facility or equipment Lightyear used in the provision of a telecommunications service. For purposes of this Agreement, combinations of Network Elements shall be referred to as “Combinations.”
Network Element. Shall have the meaning set forth in 47 U.S.C. §153.
Network Element. Shall have the meaning set forth in §153(35) of the Act.
Network Element means a facility or equipment used in supplying a telecommunications service, including features, functions and capabilities provided by means of that facility or equipment;
Network Element means any component of a transmission system, including interconnectors, or of a distribution system, including a closed distribution system, such as a single line, a single circuit, a single HVDC system, a single transformer, a single phase-shifting transformer, or a voltage compensation installation;
Network Element means facilities or equipment used in the provision of a public telecommunications service, including features, functions, and capabilities that are provided by means of such facilities or equipment, which may include local loops, sub-loops and line sharing;
Network Element is defined to mean a facility or equipment Telepak Networks used in the provision of a qualifying service, as defined by the FCC. Telepak Networks may not access a Network Element for the sole purpose of providing non-qualifying services as defined by the FCC. For purposes of this Agreement, combinations of Network Elements shall be referred to as “Combinations.”
