Net Energy definition

Net Energy. The total quantity of electric energy (measured in kilowatt hours) produced by the Facility over a given time period and delivered to the Point of Interconnection, as measured by the revenue meter. "Net Energy" the equivalent of "Actual Output."

Net Energy means, for the period being considered, the actual total amount of Energy generated by the Facility less any Energy generated by the Facility that is consumed for the operation of the Facility and less any losses up to the Delivery Point, as measured according to the metering provisions in Article VII.

Net Energy means the energy component, in kWh, of Net Output.

Examples of Net Energy in a sentence

• Seller shall be deemed to be in exclusive control of, and responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by, Net Energy or Ancillary Services delivered hereunder up to the Electricity Delivery Point; and Buyer shall be deemed to be in exclusive control of, and responsible for any damages or injury caused by, such Net Energy or Ancillary Services from the Electricity Delivery Point.

• All Net Energy and Ancillary Services that have been, at Buyer’s option, Scheduled by Buyer shall be delivered by Seller to Buyer at the Electricity Delivery Point.

• Buyer shall not be obligated to purchase Contract Capacity or receive or pay for Net Energy to the extent generation or transmission curtailment is required as a result of Seller’s non-compliance with the Interconnection Agreement.

• Seller warrants and agrees that it will transfer and deliver Contract Capacity, Capacity Rights, Ancillary Services and Net Energy to Buyer free and clear of all liens or other encumbrances and rights of third parties.

• Nothing in this Section 4.4 shall relieve Seller of its duty to comply with the Interconnection Agreement and Net Energy curtailed as provided under this Section 4.4 shall not be deemed to be an Excused Outage, or credited toward the achievement of Net Energy, as the case may be.

More Definitions of Net Energy

Net Energy means the actual and verifiable amount of Energy generated by the PV System as metered in kWh at the Metering Device(s), and in conformance with Applicable Legal Requirements and the Tariffs.

Net Energy means the energy corresponding to the Installed Capacity after adjustment of actual auxiliary consumption as available for injection at Interconnection Point;

Net Energy means, for any period, the energy output of the Facility delivered to Buyer at the Electricity Delivery Point pursuant to Buyer’s Dispatch of the Facility of a quantity in MWh not to exceed that associated with Contract Capacity, as measured pursuant to Section 8, less station use and less transformation and transmission losses to the Electricity Delivery Point.

Net Energy. Electric energy produced by the Facility, less Station Use and Losses, expressed in kilowatt hours (kWh) that is less than or equal to the Nameplate Capacity. Seller commits to deliver all Net Energy to Idaho Power at the Point of Delivery for the full term of the Agreement.

Net Energy means electric energy, expressed in KWh, produced by the Project and delivered to and measured at the Metering Point.

Net Energy means the actual and verifiable amount of Energy generated by the PV System and delivered to CVEC at the Point of Delivery pursuant to the PPA in excess of any Energy consumed by the PV System as metered in kWh at the Metering Device(s), and in conformance with Applicable Legal Requirements and the Tariffs.

Net Energy means the positive difference between the electricity supplied to a Participant from the electric grid over the current Billing Period and the electricity generated and fed into the electric grid by the Participant’s solar energy block(s) during the prior calendar month.
