Net Cash Income shall have the meaning assigned in paragraph 2 of Appendix- D.

Net Cash Income means (a) cash received by the Company from subsidiaries and equity method investments (determined on an unconsolidated basis in accordance with GAAP) which is derived from income generated from ongoing, recurring business activities minus (b) the aggregate amount of operating losses of such subsidiaries and equity method investees (excluding any losses relating to such subsidiaries’ and equity method investees’ investment activities); provided that the amount of operating losses included in clause (b) above shall not exceed the amount of cash paid by the Company to such subsidiaries and equity method investees during the relevant period of determination. For the avoidance of doubt, Net Cash Income from subsidiaries and equity method investments that exist on the Effective Date will be derived from cash received or paid by the Company consisting of its share of (i) net income of KKR Financial LLC and (ii) net loss of KKR Capital Markets Holdings L.P. For cash received from future subsidiaries and equity method investments to qualify as Net Cash Income, such cash must be derived from the ongoing, recurring business activities of such entities.

Examples of Net Cash Income in a sentence

Subject to the provisions of this section, the Trustees may in their discretion, distribute Principal for any purpose for which Net Cash Income of the Trust may be distributed.
The Trustees may distribute some, all, or none of the annual Net Cash Income of the Trust as the Trustees shall decide in their discretion and as described in this Section 6.

More Definitions of Net Cash Income

Net Cash Income of the Contractor from their Petroleum Operations in any particular Year is the aggregate value for the Year of the following:

Net Cash Income means for any period, Net Income or (Net Loss) of the Borrower for such period, plus Depreciation and Amortization all determined in conformity with GAAP on a basis consistent with the latest financial statements of the Borrower.

Net Cash Income means Lajaunie’s net income after he pays all income taxes and shall not include any items that may be income for tax purposes but do not constitute the receipt by Lajaunie of cash, such as forgiveness of debt or pass-through income from entities, and shall not include any income from this Debtor. Net Cash Income shall be reduced by any loss carry forwards from prior years, such as capital losses.

Net Cash Income means the Cash Income remaining after payment of all necessary and proper expenses of administration, but before the payment of any item properly allocated to Principal (including without limitation any taxes, such as income, real estate, or excise taxes), calculated on a cash accounting basis.

Net Cash Income means, with respect to any period, the net income (or loss) of the Company, on an unconsolidated basis, for such period determined in accordance with GAAP; excluding (i) any extraordinary, unusual or nonrecurring gains or losses (and the related tax effects) and (ii) equity in the earnings of Subsidiaries of the Company, but including dividends from such Subsidiaries to the extent such amount has been received by the Company in cash or Cash Equivalents during such period.

Net Cash Income means the amount of cash income remaining after --------------- deductions of management expenses, auditing and legal expenses and taxes, (if any) and any amount set aside in any reserve fund. The determination of the board of directors as to the manner of determining an amount of such net cash income is conclusive upon all share holders.

Net Cash Income means Borrower's Net Profit for the four (4) preceding full fiscal quarters of Borrower, plus the amount of any depreciation and other non-cash items deducted to determine such Net Profit in accordance with GAAP, less the amount of any dividends and distributions paid by Borrower to any Person during such period.
