Natural Gas definition

Natural Gas or "Gas" shall mean natural gas, processed, unprocessed, vaporized liquid natural gas, synthetic gas, propane-air mixture or any mixture of these gases.
Natural Gas means a fuel of which the primary constituent is methane.
Natural Gas means a combustible mixture of hydrocarbon gases;

Examples of Natural Gas in a sentence

  • Natural gas would be the sole fuel for the CTs and DBs. The CTs and DBs would employ combustion control technologies (such as dry low-nitrogen oxide [NOx] combustors) as well as post-combustion controls (such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and oxidation catalysts) in order to reduce air pollutant emissions.

  • Natural gas would be provided from a new buried pipeline that would extend from the vicinity of Stanfield, Oregon, approximately 10 miles southeast of the plant site.

More Definitions of Natural Gas

Natural Gas means a naturally occurring mixture of hydrocarbon gases and other gases;
Natural Gas means hydrocarbons that are in a gaseous phase at atmospheric conditions of temperature and pressure, including wet mineral gas, dry mineral gas, casing head gas and residue gas remaining after the extraction or separation of liquid hydrocarbons from wet gas, and non-hydrocarbon gas produced in association with liquid or gaseous hydrocarbons
Natural Gas means any hydrocarbons or mixture of hydrocarbons and other gases consisting primarily of methane which at a temperature of fifteen (15) Celsius and at atmospheric pressure are or is predominantly in the gaseous state;
Natural Gas means naturally occurring methane with no more than 20% by volume of inert or other constituents.
Natural Gas means a naturally occurring fluid mixture of hydrocarbons (e.g., methane, ethane, or propane) produced in geological formations beneath the Earth's surface that maintains a gaseous state at standard atmospheric temperature and pressure under ordinary conditions. Natural gas contains 20.0 grains or less of total sulfur per 100 standard cubic feet. Equivalents of this in other units are as follows: 0.068 weight percent total sulfur, 680 parts per million by weight (ppmw) total sulfur, and 338 parts per million by volume (ppmv) at 20 degrees Celsius total sulfur. Additionally, natural gas must either be composed of at least 70 percent methane by volume or have a gross calorific value between 950 and 1100 British thermal units (Btu) per standard cubic foot. Natural gas does not include the following gaseous fuels: landfill gas, digester gas, refinery gas, sour gas, blast furnace gas, coal-derived gas, producer gas, coke oven gas, or any gaseous fuel produced in a process which might result in highly variable sulfur content or heating value.
Natural Gas. ’ means either natural gas unmixed, or any mixture of natural and artifi- cial gas.
Natural Gas means all natural gas, distillate or sulphur, natural gas liquids and all products recovered in the processing of natural gas (other than condensate) including, without limitation, natural gasoline, coalbed methane gas, casinghead gas, iso-butane, normal butane, propane and ethane (including such methane allowable in commercial ethane).
