Examples of Native Title Act in a sentence
In respect of the ILUA Area the future act provisions in Part 2 Division 3 of the Native Title Act (other than Subdivision B) do not apply to the future acts referred to in clause 8.2 and those future acts are valid if done in accordance with this Agreement whether or not the provisions of Part 2 Division 3 of the Native Title Act would otherwise apply.
Each Party acknowledges and agrees that the acts contemplated by clause 8.2 may be future acts to which the provisions of Part 2, Division 3 of the Native Title Act may apply.
Activities which affect Native Title are called "Future Acts" in the Native Title Act and in some places in this Agreement.
Nothing in this agreement is intended to affect or be inconsistent with any native title rights and interests* which may exist or be recognised in the agreement areas, or with the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) (‘NTA’*).
The Government Party is authorised on behalf of all of the parties to give a copy of this Deed to the National Native Title Tribunal pursuant to Section 41A(1)(a) of the Native Title Act and to advise the Commonwealth Attorney-General in writing of the making of the terms of this Deed pursuant to section 41A(1)(b) of the Native Title Act.
