National Provider Identifier definition

National Provider Identifier means the Standard Unique Health Identifier for Healthcare Providers; Final Rule at 45 C.F.R. Part 162.
National Provider Identifier or "NPI" means the identifier described under Code of Federal Regulations, title 45, part 162.406.
National Provider Identifier means a standard unique number for a health care provider assigned by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

National Provider Identifier. (NPI) means a number issued to a provider by HHS. "Nursing facility" has the same meaning as in section 5165.01 of the Revised Code. "ODA" means the Ohio department of aging.
