Cremation chamber means the enclosed space within which the cremation takes place.
ICC means the International Chamber of Commerce.
UCP 600 means the rules of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, as most recently published by the International Chamber of Commerce and in effect as of July 1, 2007 (or such later version thereof as may be in effect at the time of issuance).
UCP means, with respect to any Letter of Credit, the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) Publication No. 600 (or such later version thereof as may be in effect at the time of issuance).
international carriage means any carriage in which, according to the contract of carriage, the place of departure and the place of destination are situated in two different States, or in a single State if, according to the contract of carriage or the scheduled itinerary, there is an intermediate port of call in another State;
Operation of a System of Records means performance of any of the activities associated with maintaining the SOR, including the collection, use, maintenance, and dissemination of records.
International Classification means the Classification established under the Locarno Agreement Establishing an International Classification for Industrial Designs;
customs airport means any airport declared under section 9 to be a customs- airport;
Conciliation means the attempted resolution of issues raised by a complaint, or by the investigation of such complaint, through informal negotiations involving the aggrieved person, the respondent, and the Secretary.
ICC Rules means the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in effect on the date the applicable arbitration proceeding begins.
ISP means, with respect to any Letter of Credit, the “International Standby Practices 1998” published by the Institute of International Banking Law & Practice, Inc. (or such later version thereof as may be in effect at the time of issuance).
international standard means a standard adopted by an international standardisation organisation and made available to the general public;
Letter of Credit Termination Date means the fifth Domestic Business Day prior to the Termination Date.
national standard means a standard adopted by a national standardisation organisation and made available to the general public;
customs area means the area of a customs station and includes any area in which imported goods or export goods are ordinarily kept before clearance by customs authorities;
UK generally accepted accounting principles and practices means the principles and practices prevailing from time to time in the United Kingdom which are generally regarded as permissible or legitimate by the accountancy profession irrespective of the degree of use.
Primary Credit Facility mean the credit facility described in the Line of Credit section of this Agreement.
customs control ’ means control in terms of this Act;
Conciliator means an individual appointed as such in terms of section 82;
International Student means a student holding a student visa for the purpose of obtaining an education in Australia and includes a student on a study abroad or international exchange program;
the Gazette means the Botswana Government Gazette;
Applicable Letter of Credit Fee Rate means the percentage rate per annum based on the Leverage Ratio then in effect according to the pricing grid on Schedule 1.1(A) below the heading “Letter of Credit Fee.”
National Standards means the document entitled “National Standards for the Volatile Organic Compound Content of Canadian Commercial/Industrial Surface Coating Products Automotive Refinishing, October 1998, PN 1288" and published by the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment;
Letter of Credit Fee Rate means, at any time, the percentage rate per annum applicable to Letter of Credit Fees at such time as set forth in the Pricing Schedule.
ISP 98 means the International Standby Practices (1998 Revision, effective January 1, 1999), International Chamber of Commerce Publication No. 590.
Gestational carrier means an adult woman who enters into an agreement to have an embryo implanted in her and bear the resulting child for intended parents, where the embryo is conceived by using the egg and sperm of the intended parents.
