National Building Regulations made under the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Act, 1977 (Act No. 103 of 1977), and promulgated by Government Notice No. R.
The building must comply with the national Building Regulations as proclaimed by the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Act 1977 (Act 103 of 1977) as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993), as amended.
