A Named Person will normally be the health visitor for a pre-school child and a promoted teacher – such as a head teacher or guidance teacher – for a school age child.
Children and young people from birth to 18 and their parents will have access to a Named Person to help them get the support they need.
The Provider will ensure that any Named Person shall not, whether during or after their appointment, disclose or allow to be disclosed to any person (except on a confidential basis to their professional advisers) any information of a confidential nature acquired by the Provider or any Named Person in the course of carrying out their duties under this Agreement, except as may be required by law or as directed by the Commissioner.
The endorsements set out in this section apply to every policy, with the exception(s) of: Fire Fighting Apparatus, Excluding Named Person, Fire and Theft Deductible, Replacement Cost Coverage, Incidental Commercial Use (Section C) and Incidental Commercial Use (Sections A, B and C) which apply only if indicated on the Summary of Coverage page.
