Mutual Funds means (i) all open-end mutual funds; and (ii) similar pooled investment vehicles established in non-U.S. jurisdictions, such as registered investment trusts in Japan. For purposes of the Code, Mutual Fund does not include shares of open-end money market mutual funds (unless otherwise advised by Compliance).
Mutual Fund or “Fund” or “UTIMF” means UTI Mutual Fund, a Trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 registered with SEBI under registration number MF/048/03/01 dated January 14, 2003.
Investment Fund has the same meaning as in National Instrument 81-106 Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure;
Investments as defined in Section 7.8.
PIPE Investment has the meaning specified in the Recitals hereto.
Investment Funds means all monies and financial resources available for investment by the Authority, other than proceeds of bonds issued by the Authority.
Alternative Investments means investments in the said State which are within the ability and competence of the Company or of corporations which are related to the Company for the purposes of the Companies (Western Australia) Code and which are approved by the Minister from time to time as alternative investments for the purpose of this Agreement (which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld in the case of an investment which would add value or facilitate the addition of value, beyond mining, to the mineral resources of the said State);”;
Joint Venture Investment means, with respect to any Obligor, any Investment by such Obligor in a joint venture or other investment vehicle in the form of a capital investment, loan or other commitment in or to such joint venture or other investment vehicle pursuant to which such Obligor may be required to provide contributions, investments, or financing to such joint venture or other investment vehicle and which Investment the Borrower has designated as a “Joint Venture Investment”.
Approved Investment means any type of security, instrument, participation or interest in property, as set forth on Schedule I hereto (which may be amended from time to time by execution of a revised Schedule I, I-A or I-B) in which Cash Collateral may be invested or reinvested by Bank in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article IV hereof.
Other Investments means assets which are not Direct Investments or Underlying Funds.
Restricted Investment means an Investment other than a Permitted Investment.
Alternative investment means an investment in a private equity fund, venture fund, hedge fund, or absolute return fund.
Money market mutual fund means an open-end managed investment fund:
Restricted Investments means all Investments except the following:
Direct Investments means assets which are not Underlying Funds.
Qualified Investments means any and all securities, obligations or accounts in which municipalities may invest their funds under applicable Maine law.

Permitted Investment means an Investment by the Company or any Restricted Subsidiary in:
Quoted Investments has the meaning set forth in Section 5.12(b)(ii)(A).
Authorized Investments means: any investment which may be authorized by the Commission but does not include restricted investments as specified in the Offering Documents from time to time.
Investment Account As defined in Section 3.12(a).
Alternative Investment Vehicle means an entity created in accordance with the Operative Documents of a Borrower to make investments and that has the right to call on Capital Commitments directly from Investors.
Wholly-Owned Investment Sub means an entity (i) that is wholly-owned8 by a Regulated Fund (with such Regulated Fund at all times holding, beneficially and of record, directly or indirectly, 95% or more of the voting and economic interests); (ii) whose sole business purpose is to hold one or more investments on behalf of such Regulated Fund (and, in the case of a SBIC Subsidiary (defined below), maintain a license under the SBA Act (defined below) and issue debentures guaranteed by the SBA (defined below)); (iii) with respect to which such Regulated Fund’s Board has the sole authority to make all determinations with respect to the entity’s participation under the Conditions to this Application; and that (iv) (A) would be an investment company but for Section 3(c)(1), 3(c)(5)(C), or 3(c)(7) of the Act, (B) relies on Rule 3a-7 under the Act, or (C) qualifies as a REIT within the meaning of Section 856 of the Code because substantially all of its assets would consist of real properties. The term “SBIC Subsidiary” means a Wholly-Owned Investment Sub that is licensed by the Small Business Administration (the “SBA”) to operate under the Small Business Investment Act of 1958, as amended, (the “SBA Act”) as a small business investment company.
Investment Entity means any Entity that conducts as a business (or is managed by an entity that conducts as a business) one or more of the following activities or operations for or on behalf of a customer:
