Municipal Law Enforcement Officer definition

Municipal Law Enforcement Officer means a person appointed under the authority of the Police Services Act for the purpose of enforcing City by-laws.
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer or “MLEO” means a Person appointed or employed by the City as a municipal law enforcement officer under the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.15, as amended;
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer means a person appointed by Council under Section 15 of the Police Services Act to enforce the by-laws of the City, and includes any Licencing Enforcement Officer.

  • Where the Director or any Municipal Law Enforcement Officer is satisfied that a contravention of this by-law or a permit has occurred, such Director or Municipal Law Enforcement Officer may make an order requiring that the person who caused or permitted such contravention, or the owner or occupier of the land on which the contravention occurred, to discontinue the contravening activity and/or to do work to correct the contravention.

  • This By-law may be enforced by any Municipal Law Enforcement Officer.

  • This will be a person employed or contracted by the Corporation who is not a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer.
