MSL Activities definition

MSL Activities means through the use of Medical Science Liaisons the maintenance of effective relationships with clinical investigators with respect to the Product in the Field in the Territory. MSL Activities would also include responding to physicians' requests for medical information with respect to the Field.
MSL Activities means, for each country in the Territory, those activities not related to the promotion, detailing, or marketing of the Product, but which are otherwise set forth in the relevant medical section of the Annual Regional Commercialization Plan, if any, approved for such country, or where no such plan exists as determined by the applicable Commercializing Party, consisting of the following activities: (a) HCP-facing field-based medical communication activities utilizing Medical Education Materials and medical content approved by the applicable Commercializing Party to support the safe and effective use of the Product for approved indications, including indications authorized under an Emergency Use Authorization, or as permitted under applicable Laws other indications identified by the Commercializing Party for its Commercialization Territory; (b) responses to UMRs; (c) scientific exchange activities utilizing medical resources approved by the applicable Commercializing Party created for such purpose; (d) field-based medical support at medical congresses, including drafting post-congress summary reports for internal use; (e) gathering field-based customer insights for internal use and (f) other non-promotional activities approved for MSLs pursuant to the Partiescompliance policies and local laws and regulations. For clarity, MSL Activities specifically exclude Global Medical Activities.
MSL Activities means field-based activities conducted by personnel designated as medical science liaisons (or similar title), whether before or after commercial launch of a Product, including (a) providing scientific data about the Products and disease state to healthcare providers and the various constituents therein, including clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and others, through in-person meetings and presentations or other methods; (b) collecting feedback from healthcare providers and the various constituents therein regarding their questions and scientific data needs related to the Products and disease state, through in-person meetings and presentations or other methods; (c) attending medical meetings that involve the Product or its targeted Indication(s); (d) delivering presentations on a Product, its method of administration or its effects; (e) developing and maintaining relationships with leading physicians or key opinion leaders in the treatment of the Indications targeted by a Product; (f) liaising with health care providers regarding investigator-initiated studies related to a Product, Phase IV Marketing Studies related to a Product and other data generation opportunities involving the Product; and (g) in appropriate circumstances, training the sales force on a Product.

Examples of MSL Activities in a sentence

  • In the course of conducting the MSL Activities, OSI shall distribute to physicians only those materials that have been submitted to Serono for review and approval hereunder and no other materials.

  • OSI shall Promote the Product and conduct the MSL Activities in conformity with the practices and procedures relating to the education of the medical community set forth in the Standards.

  • OSI shall require each Medical Science Liaison to attend training as described in Section 2.7.3 before such Medical Science Liaison is permitted to conduct MSL Activities.

  • OSI shall Promote and Detail the Product and conduct the Clinical Trials and the MSL Activities in accordance with applicable Law, the Codes, the terms of this Agreement, and the then-current Oncology Marketing Plan.

  • As between OSI and Serono, Serono shall have all right, title and interest in and to any data, results or other information relating to the Product and arising from the Clinical Trials; provided, however, OSI shall have the right to use any publications or oral or written presentations of any such data, results or other information that Serono Controls in connection with its Promotion, Detailing or conduct of MSL Activities in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

  • OSI shall conduct the MSL Activities set forth in the then-current Oncology Marketing Plan.

  • In the course of Promoting and Detailing the Product and conducting the MSL Activities and the Clinical Trials, OSI shall not misappropriate any trade secret or other intellectual property of a third party.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Serono grants to OSI under the Licensed Technology the exclusive right during the Term to Promote, Detail and provide MSL Activities for the Product in the Field in the Territory and to conduct the Clinical Trials.

  • OSI shall promptly notify Serono of and provide Serono with a copy of any correspondence or other reports with respect to the Promotion and Detailing of the Product or the conduct of Clinical Trials or MSL Activities that OSI receives from any Governmental Authority, including the FDA or from the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) or the American Medical Association (AMA) relating to its compliance with applicable Law or the Codes.

  • OSI shall promptly notify Serono of and provide Serono with a copy of any correspondence or other reports with respect to the Promotion of the Product or the conduct of the MSL Activities that OSI receives from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) relating to its compliance with the Standards.

Related to MSL Activities

  • Commercial Activities means activities conducted on a commercial basis.

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • High Risk Activities means uses such as the operation of nuclear facilities, air traffic control, or life support systems, where the use or failure of the Services could lead to death, personal injury, or environmental damage.

  • Development Activities means those activities which are normally undertaken for the development, construction, rehabilitation or conversion of buildings for residential purposes, including the acquisition of property;

  • Medical Affairs Activities means, with respect to any country or other jurisdiction in the Territory, the coordination of medical information requests and field based medical scientific liaisons with respect to Licensed Compounds or Licensed Products, including activities of medical scientific liaisons and the provision of medical information services with respect to a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product.

  • Covered Activities means those land uses and conservation and other activities described in Chapter 2.3 of the HCP/NCCP to be carried out by the Conservancy or its agents that may result in Authorized Take of Covered Species during the term of the HCP/NCCP, and that are otherwise lawful.

  • Service activities means activities in connection with the provision of personal, continuing services to shareholder accounts in the Shares; provided, however, that if the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (“NASD”) adopts a definition of “service fee” for purposes of Section 2830(b)(9) of the NASD Conduct Rules or any successor provision that differs from the definition of “service activities” hereunder, or if the NASD adopts a related interpretive position intended to define the same concept, the definition of “service activities” in this paragraph shall be automatically amended, without further action of the parties, to conform to the then effective NASD definition. Overhead and other expenses related to “distribution activities” or “service activities,” including telephone and other communications expenses, may be included in the information regarding amounts expended for these activities.

  • Funded Activities means the activities set out in Annex 2 of these Conditions; Funding Period means the period for which the Grant is awarded starting on the Commencement Date and ending on [INSERT PROJECT END DATE]; General Data Protection Regulations and GDPR means (Regulation (EU) 2016/679); Grant means the sum or sums the Authority will pay to the Grant Recipient in accordance with paragraph 4 of these Conditions and subject to the provisions set out at paragraph 26.

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Project Activities means activities related to the design, the construction, operation and maintenance of the Facility, including the sale of Energy Output to the Buyer and for purposes of the Job Creation Element, shall include the Employment of people to manage, within the Project, activities required to comply with the obligations related to Economic Development;

  • Competitive Activities means any business activities in which the Company or any other member of the Company Group engage (or have committed plans to engage) during the Term of Employment, or, following termination of Employee’s employment hereunder, was engaged in business (or had committed plans to engage) at the time of such termination of employment.
