Motor Neuron Disease definition

Motor Neuron Disease means a definitive Diagnosis of one (1) of the following: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease); Primary lateral sclerosis; Progressive spinal muscular atrophy; Progressive bulbar palsy; or Pseudo bulbar palsy.
Motor Neuron Disease means unequivocal Diagnosis of Motor Neuron Disease by a consultant neurologist supported by definitive evidence of appropriate and relevant neurological signs including Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Primary Lateral Sclerosis. Claim shall only be admitted if the condition is confirmed by a consultant neurologist as progressive and resulting in permanent and irreversible damage to the nervous system with evidence of objective abnormal neurological signs on examination.
Motor Neuron Disease. – means one of the following: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease), primary lateral sclerosis, progressive spinal muscular atrophy, progressive bulbar palsy, or pseudo bulbar palsy, and limited to these conditions.
