Mobile Technology definition

Mobile Technology means any wireless communications technology which utilises radio frequency spectrum in any band and/or TCP/IP protocols or any other protocols (including DVB-H and DAB) which is used to transmit audio material and/or still or moving visual and/or audiovisual material (whether in analogue or digital form) to or from a Mobile Device including General Packet Radio Services (GPRS), Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), Enhanced Data GSM Environment (EDGE), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), High Speed Circuit Switched Data (HSCSD), Personal Communications Networks (PCN), Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max and any similar, related or derivative technology now known or invented, developed or released in the future;
Mobile Technology refers to the use of social media/texting with a mobile device.

Background Technology will also include any general consulting tool or methodology created by Contractor, which will not be required to be identified in the Statement of Work.

  • Information Technology (IT means data processing, telecommunications, and office systems technologies and services:

  • Technology Rights means BOARD's rights in any technical information, know-how, processes, procedures, compositions, devices, methods, formulae, protocols, techniques, software, designs, drawings or data created by the inventor(s) listed in Exhibit I at UTMDACC before the EFFECTIVE DATE, which are not claimed in PATENT RIGHTS but that are necessary for practicing PATENT RIGHTS.

  • Information Technology (IT) System means the combination of hardware components, software, and other equipment to make a system whose core purpose is to accomplish a data processing need such as the automatic acquisition, storage, analysis, evaluation, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission or reception of data. IT systems include ground systems in support of flight hardware. IT systems do not include—

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Information Technology Systems means all information technology systems, Software, computers, workstations, databases, routers, hubs, switches, networks and other information technology equipment used or held for use in, or otherwise relating to, the Business.

  • Licensed Know-How means all Know-How that (a) is Controlled by Pfizer or any of its Affiliates as of the effective date of the Pfizer-MPP Agreement, (b) directly relates to the use of the Compound, Product or Licensed Product in the Field, and (c) is not in the public domain or otherwise generally known. For the avoidance of doubt, (i) Licensed Know-How shall not include any Know-How to the extent solely and directly related to any other Pfizer compound or to the extent related to the use of the Compound, Product or Licensed Product outside the Field and (ii) Licensed Know-How includes only that Know-How, designated by Pfizer in its sole discretion, necessary for the manufacture, registration and commercialization of the Compound and/or Licensed Product for use in the Field. For the avoidance of doubt, Licensed Know-How excludes any Know-How related to ritonavir that has been (either as of the Effective Date or at any time during the term of this Agreement) in-licensed by Pfizer from any Third Party.
